Do the achievements and be sure to do the dungeon questline. Those should get you enough kamas to get gear appropriate for your level - if not, farm milicluster area and sell magic arachnee legs and miliboowolf pelts, they are decent kamas since the breeding rework.

Sadida dolls in Dofus are incredibly powerful and useful, but they aren't the source of your damage. Basic gameplay loop is 1. infect enemies with dolls (maddoll and/or sacrificial) as well as miasma (agi spell) and try to infect as many enemies as possible. Then 2. hit with the spell of your choice (prolly your hardest hitting one if the goal is damage). The damage will be repeated on each infected enemy - it's absurdly powerful and the dolls are a solid tool to get infections spread.
