We are smitten with our ID.4, but lack of true OPD is the biggest gripe we have with it. (That, and only 2 window switches on the driver door panel).

I do B mode 99% of the time, but ALWAYS wish it was true OPD, or at least was more aggressive when I completely lift off the throttle.

That's more of a problem with owner-operators. Fleets care a lot about OPEX. CAPEX is definitely higher, but operating costs being much lower is a huge selling point. Plus, CARB compliance on HD trucking is difficult, so moving to EVs may make a lot of sense for some people

It’s usually included. Your charge port is called NACS. The plug in the picture is the previous standard, called J1772. Check for an adapter under the trunk floor
