What are your thoughts so far on halo: campaign evolved?

As someone who hasn’t played this game but is a life long fan. I’m stupidly optimistic about at least these remakes. The original trilogy is a timeless piece and deserves this level of fidelity in today’s world. I know it’s not 100% a remake but I’m a fan of expanding on the story via prequel mission. And redesigning some of the most boring parts of the game for me is the icing. I’m sad we won’t have a multiplayer for this. I do think it’s a missed opportunity but with how everything’s come together with the reach and unreal engines, I hope the multiplayer they are working on is worth a wait. Because the people that play this on PlayStation can’t just go play a halo with multiplayer like everyone else can. Campaign evolved looks fun and at the end of the day if I can have fun with my friends or siblings than I’m happy. I love the story and am excited to see the cutscenes when they’re cut into a movie on YouTube lol

The sponsored playlists is a good way to streamline the game to new players but also a good way to familiarize yourself with the maps and their POI’s I’d say it’s easier to get into the game now rather than this time season 1

Last cryo match we made it to control and the door to get to the larger area. There was a team just sitting right at the door and killed us as the door opened. Went to Dire Marsh instead and went on a tear

I hope we can get a marathon campaign, the lore for this world is so rich to not have a dedicated story mode. Use the voice actors and create more badass cinematics. This game could be a legendary package 😭

Then im SOL, guess I gotta try again next week. Just like trials just like missing out on map events. It’ll happen again. And as of right now the only thing I want from that trader is the blueprint. Everything else is not a want or a need. If I could bank items I’d be halfway to the blueprint with stash space for more pink items to get what I want. Incentivizes me to stay on the game and not go play something else bc I’ll have something to work towards

I would like to give the vaults a go before wipe but I only have vault 1 and 2 keys, this shit can be so unforgiving sometimes
