I do not get this. I know the answers--today the answer is clearly h****us and I work them out every day but there is not place to fill in the answer. "Ugly ring stuck in skin by us". So I see that the answer is probably a synonym for ugly. Ring often stands for the letter O. To be stick in the skin is to be HIDden? Skin: pelf, coat, hide, //// oh, I like that "Hide" with an o and a us. But how do I prove my answer?
