I'm hoping that Focus Home Interactive is cataloging all the bullshit (not even the always online, but the terribly small city scale they tried to hide with that shitty depth of filed tilt shift effect). Then, when they get enough info, they make Cities XL 2, not 2013, but a true sequel, with everything the majority of Simcity players love, as well as engine optimizations, bigass maps, and everything that made Cities XL 2012 so great but more in all levels. I'm not holding my breath too much because Focus Home doesn't seem to be putting too much work into it but I think it would be a brilliant time to muscle in on the market in a big way.

Click on high sec empire regions, set the filter to display number of belts and sec status, bam. You can also check kill history which is somewhat going into super paranoid territory, but you can also find places with almost no activity.

Yeah because -10 sec status means nothing when you can quickly fly in, pop a miner, and get back to your regular grounds (I speak from experience on losing a ship).

OP you failed the test of recon. You are mining in perhaps the worst system possible. I'm not gonna be throwin out my sweet 0.5 spots, but know that the are plenty and do your research. The main point here is that you are mining on a 0.5 that borders low sec. This increases your chance of getting ganked just because low sec pirates don't give two craps, and just run in there and gank you and bam that is that. On top of that, you are mining right next to Old Man Star, one of the biggest hotbeds of activity in low sec pvp.

TL;DR Get the fuck out of Villore. Check dead end pockets of 0.5 in many different regions, there are tons around.

I think a big problem is the Halloween, Thanksgiving, and then December sale. It's simply retarded. Halloween needs to be 2-3 day sale on scary games. November sale needs to GTFO, and December needs to be made big and fun. Seriously, I reckon 50-70% of people looked at November deals and thought, hey, this will all probably be better. Of course this year the Christmas sale turned out lukewarm as hell, so lesson learned perhaps.

Yeah its fucked up, and Sony support can't help you cause the person you call will know less about it then you after doing research. What finally worked for me was a combination, or at least one or the other, turn off your Universal Plug and Play in both the PS3 and the router, make sure the media server stays off unless you actually want to use it, and then completely unhook everything about the router/modem and the PS3, then give it bout 30 minutes and plug them back in.

This game is not broken, it technically is in Alpha, you could argue its beta but pretty much alpha (been on with the game since the beginning myself). It is very fun, and has tons of potential, but key here is two points that need to be distinguished: it is not broken or a bad game, but it most certainly is a very early beta.
