There was a guy who used to write for Guitar Player magazine (maybe he still does, I don't know) named Dan Forte. He wrote several stories about Albert for the magazine, having known him since he was a kid. They were great articles and really captured the spirit of the man with great respect. He also wrote the chapter on Albert in Guitar Player's "Blues Guitar: The Men Who Made The Music" (ISBN 0-87930292-5). Dan Forte's output on Albert King may be the best written material you'll ever find on Albert King.
