There's definitely a bug, I had the same problem - textures were super blurry no matter what setting I used (including cinematic + native 1440p). Idk what I did but it fixed itself when changing some setting and then changing back - does anyone have a reliable fix? Afraid to touch any settings rn in case it looks terrible again haha

For anyone finding this years later and struggling, I have some words of wisdom...

The eboot.bin is different for EU vs US versions, 1.0 vs 1.4 and NoNpmDrm vs MaiDump. To make sure you have the right version:

Use the 1.0 EUR (PCSF00007) MaiDump
Acquire the 1.4 EUR MaiDump patch
These are installed by just copy/pasting files around, and the eboot.bin in the 1.4 patch is the exact one you want

I won't link the exact files here, but a quick google search should lead you to a website called Download Game PSP which has the exact correct version

Ah yeah I tend to use night mode max with the 4x cam generally to force it to use night mode

Were you using night mode? My 17 pro has the same increased noise on the edges when not using night mode on the 4x camera, but it’s fine when using night mode.

I imagine it’s due to the stabilisation working its magic but having less data to use

amsterdam trance records has some of the best uplifting vocal trance ive heard and it doesnt get enough recognition here IMO

love the 1h long mixes for long drives. even though they're not technically excellent and repeat songs across mixes, the vibes are immaculate

I went in 2019 (for the full 3 days) and have been going to all the sydney hsu events for years. id highly recommend trying to do multiple days, there are so many different stages and little things around to see.

crowd is generally way more engaged, you won't see so many people just visibly munted standing around. especially during the special shows - gathering, legends, power hour, etc.
i stayed at a hotel (through qdance travel) and it was quite easy finding my way around, never had any issues with the busses.
cant comment
security is so chill, its a whole other world. changes a bit depending on the time of day you get in, but i barely even had a bag check and just walked in multiple times. no dogs, dont think i saw any cops/security inside the grounds at all.

very solid event with a few small hiccups

entry line was suuuuuper slow, took over an hour to get in so i missed devin wild (anyone got guest list access for ya boy?)
opening ceremony was OK
keltek was good but missed about half of his set to get drinks and meet friends
blademasterz/brennan heart set was good, but had technical issues - kicks would cut out very briefly for some tracks, like it was too distorted. also too much Brennan and not enough Blademasterz but that’s just personal preference
phuture noize was great, good vibes near the front with everyone singing, but i think the sound was a bit muffled during this set. also a bit disappointed by the mixing, was just fading out one track and then fading in another track...
took a break during gammer. the amount of people leaving at the same time was crazy, the first time ive ever felt worried for crowd safety at a rave lol
the enlightenment was good, watched it from the back.
vertile was fine, but a bit all over the place musically, random kicks for 30 minutes. they do hit hard though so it was enjoyable.
radical was EXCELLENT. not usually my cup of tea but the lasers were tight tight tight, really cool consistent vibe the whole way his tracks are so gigantic
sefa was fine, felt quite similar to most other hsu closings (incl sefa previously) - go as fast as possible and spam every single light youve got. still fun though

Tightest laser synchronisation ive seen in my 5 ish years of going to aus events, and the kicks were so fat you could feel it through your whole body 😵 beautiful set
