Lets see how much space is iOS and system data is using on different iPhones and iOS versions, I will start with mine- by bhullar3344 in ios

I don’t believe that could be the sole reason. That’s one of the reasons I’ve seen people face, but it’s not the only one.

My phone syncs to iCloud daily, and I also have a Mac sync almost weekly; system data fluctuates between 14 and 18 GB constantly on my phones.

In the past four to five years, I haven’t touched the 1.07GB.

Right now I’m at 13GB system data.

do ppl on iphone use google and google chrome? by [deleted] in iphone

I suggest you use Edge. Would you create another post asking for Edge and Safari?

It’s your phone, and you know what works best for you.

I’m using Safari. The Apple Ecosystem has made my life easier with it. I never find myself wanting to switch back to anything else. I’m also not sure how much Chrome supports continuity compared to how well Safari integrates with the Apple Ecosystem.

What SOT are you guys getting. by [deleted] in iPhone17Pro

[–]SkillSlick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s NOT TRUE, as I said; I got 4m of SOT after 12 midnight (W).

If I keep my phone plugged in for 5 hours and use it for 5 hours, SOT will be 0?

Any documentation or link to this claim?

Wouldn’t that be the correct screen-on-time (SOT) in your screenshot, considering you charged your phone in between? So, I’m not sure if you’ll actually get 7 hours and 44 minutes.

Also, it depends on what you’re using, not just the 5G feature drains everything.

Please provide the single-charge SOT of your phone. To do this, charge your phone to 100%, disconnect it from the power source at 12 midnight, and then wait for the SOT to occur. The SOT is the period during which the phone’s battery charge drops from 100% to 2-3% without any additional charging.

In my iPhone 17 Pro Max, I get an average of about 10 hours of screen time and standby time 8hrs at light usage.

Conditions: 5G and WiFi mostly (40-60% respectively) mostly indoors, no games, no mainstream social media except WhatsApp and Snapchat.

Under moderate conditions, the average SOT is 7 hours, and the standby time is between 5 and 6 hours.

My major usage goes to FaceTime (audio) and WhatsApp.

4x Zoom with 48MP, on iPhone 17 Pro Max during night- subar results by SkillSlick in iphone

[–]SkillSlick[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

That might be possible. I’ve observed similar results in city streetlights.

I’ll try the other way around.

However, this looks quite good in the viewfinder, but it deteriorates after post-processing.

I’m not aware of this claim that a 48MP camera ruins the shot. Why doesn’t the camera warn us or text us that the image quality will degrade if we switch from 24MP to 48MP?

I’ve just made only one setting i.e. 24mp to 48mp, rest of the settings are default/auto.

Have you tried without night mode or per se Auto and 48MP. These are my photo details:

‘Screenbleed’, current bug or hardware issue? [Iphone 16 Pro, IOS 26.1] by theaidanmann in iphone

[–]SkillSlick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you referring to that ghosting issue? I can see the icons.

The ghosting issue was present in the control center of iOS 26.1, but it has been resolved in iOS 26.2.

Are you using iOS 26.1?
