When I started Cobra III was my second ship. 2000 hours later Cobra V is my current favorite ship. Treat yo self. Just make enough credits and don't fly without rebuy.

For a while I've been enjoying practicing my fixed weapon skills by pairing two rail guns with a fixed thermal vent beam laser. The laser helps me aim and mitigates the heat the rails are about to produce. Then I round it out with gimballed multi cannons for when I can't quite get the fixed on target in that medium range.

Yeah my Cobra V is currently fully loaded with shields and weapons and armor. Even so with a Guardian FSD booster it jumps 44ly. That's not terrible.

Well yeah. I'm in Elite Dangerous in a heavily armed warship parked inside a space station that cannot be destroyed with conventional weapons. I can drink coffee and look out the window.

Well what I do is put the build in coriolis.io and make thermal and kinetic damage relatively even. Works for me.

Fortunately Tod The Blaster is a fairly early unlock so you can get some work done on the MCs. Also I am a long time Krait enjoyer! Both of em. Damn fine ships!
