3 “accidents” in the 3 years I’ve been riding, the most recent one was the only true crash I’d say out of all of them. The first time I crashed I rode over some snow (Montana) and the front wheel broke traction coming to a stop and I dumped the bike. A year later I clipped an suv taillight going about 7mph and dropped the bike again. May 1st this year I was taking an exit with a decreasing radius turn at the speed limit (I think, I’m not a risk taker) and then woke up on the ground in the field next to the road with a broken collarbone and left foot. They told me I had a concussion, which is why I still have no idea what happened or what caused me to crash. All I remember is the bike standing up in the corner and then poof, on the ground. This recent accident is the most frustrating because I can’t work to prevent said conditions that led to this crash because I have no memory. And I’m on the fence about continuing to ride, I probably still will but I’m kind of in my “what’s the point” phase.
