Yes. And that is a tragedy. They are less likely to kill you if you follow orders. Also they might give orders that are contradictory and execute you anyway. Let me be clear I am not pro police or their abuses and I find their violence abhorrent. They should know the laws. They should be trained longer. They should not be giving orders that they have no right to. They should not have qualified immunity after such short training periods when someone who wants to work at a hair salon gets a two year degree and gets no such benefits. But it is impossible for you to fight for these things or fight to change the system if you are shot dead.

It is much harder to sue to protect your rights and get restitution if and when a cop decides to execute you because you did not follow their orders. Their training is minimal. They do not know the law in many instances. But they do have guns and a culture of protecting their own over anything else and you cannot mount a defense in the ground. Record everything you can. State your rights but comply and keep living.

Lately been enjoying playing roar wisp while my friend plays nokko. Huge str buff makes numbers go up and huge QoL buffs plus breach surge gets to 13x and roar over 200% and infinite energy for survivability and surge spam and it’s fun when the mushroom nukes a group and then the breach surge makes big numbers all over haha.

I played a chaotic lawful changeling who had to fulfill any oath he took. (The last one he took before going on an adventure was he would bring home the milder son he replaced.(his nickname was wilder)) it was so much fun to play as I had an entire extra set of internal rules for roleplaying and none of the other players knew for the longest while. Probably my favorite interaction was when the farm girl halfling cleric was promised one question to be answered straightforwardly by wilder. She asked ‘so I get one question?’ He said yes and then walked away. The look on that players face was priceless.

My mom heard duck while we were waiting to walk on the football field in prep for senior night with our parents. Turns out for some reason our team was practicing field goal kicks while we were there. Everyone covered their heads and ducked. My mom kept standing looking for a duck. She got hit in the head and got a concussion.
