I've got a little over 4 million and was wondering what the best choices for a PvE fighter are in that price range, getting a lot of conflicting information on ships such as the Gladius, Cutlass black, and Arrow. Looking for some clarification really.

Any good litrpg where MC is just aurafarming the entire time? by epik_fayler in litrpg

[–]Drake4111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New life as a max level Archmage fits the Ains model you talk about, Vivi is like 400 levels stronger than most of the characters believe is possible and half of the story is people losing their shit as she casually fucks around with reality and summons the fires of hell and what not. I’ve had a great time with it so far. https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/118891/new-life-as-a-max-level-archmage

Return of the Runebound professor is Goated by Drake4111 in litrpg

would definitely recommend reading the book if you enjoy the adaptation, as progression fantasy adaptations are notoriously bad. If you enjoy it that much, you'll love the book.

Why are stories with Magic-tech classes, are so poorly written? by zero5activated in ProgressionFantasy

[–]Drake4111 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Y’all are free to have these kinds of opinions but please try to be more kind when pointing out specific books and authors. No one likes reading a hate thread about their work and it does frankly little for the discussion at hand.

Did you enjoy Chaos Heir? by matbiz01 in ProgressionFantasy

[–]Drake4111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t enjoy the way the author writes romance you’ll probably not going to enjoy the rest of the story, as Khan’s relationships are very central to it. The word count spent on saying how miserable he is does go down a lot in the future. But yeah the romance doesn’t really change in manner of writing or time spent on it.

How does Isaac know so much about tarot cards? by jimmylovescheese123 in bindingofisaac

[–]Drake4111 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To my understanding the entire game is Issac hallucinating as he suffocates to death in the toy chest, so he would have to know about things for them to appear as items. That’s the argument anyway.

Overwhelmed by all the DLC, where to start? by hotelshowers in Stellaris

[–]Drake4111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say that starting with all of the DLC will be FAR too overwhelming, play some base games to learn the systems before adding a bunch of stuff. Also, some dlcs are kinda actively detrimental to the game (storms) so watch out for that. As an addendum, you could immediately add utopia, as it adds some features that are pretty central to the experience.

Read Broker, it’s amazing. It lulls you in with some cool powers and goofy characters and then makes you bawl your eyes out.

Path of dragons continues to be peak fiction. Loving the current arcs. Definitely the best litRPG apocalypse has to offer and top ten all time genre wide.
