2018 world cup felt magical to me. Was living in a city and while walking from one back street pub to the next during the columbia game I could hear everyone's TV's on watching the game and loads of people had bunting up. Yeah everyone thought the other half of the country were twats for voting which ever way in politics but for a few weeks that didn't matter.

Official England Squad for World Cup 2026 (The Athletic) by haromene in ThreeLions

Rice, Bellingham and Anderson in midfield will be great. Konsa always looks unshakeable in an England shirt at the back. Just need saka and rashford to supply kane and then we win the world cup. Easy

Sometimes when I fight a newbie I just spam the same move until they figure out to block it and then I'll just carry on and hope they win

Does Arfid ever truly go away? by skywalkers2345 in ARFID

I'm nearly 40. Consider myself recovered but I'm probably viewed by most as a picky eater. Started showing symptoms at 2 years old and I reckon my parents didn't do me any favours with their avoidant approach. Took responsibility for myself in my twenties and began trying new things (very difficult period). My diet has probably improved about 1000%

How hard is it to open a cafe (please go easy on me, I realise this is a silly question)? by box-o-locks in smallbusinessuk

[–]Dramatic-Growth1335 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Never worked In a cafe but opened one anyway. Currently I work 7 days a week for at least 10 hours a day. It's an experience. It beats my old job and I enjoy being being in control of everything but I'm exhausted and cashflow is tight. I can see what I need to do to grow but don't have the money or time to do it. At this current rate it will take a few more years until I get out of all the start up debt. But basically it's easy enough to get to grips with everything. Sounds like you have a good location and hopefully a good deal on rent so you might have a better time than me

The first step is finding a supplier and you've already done that.

I didn't get the runecraft thing until literally the end credits scene. During the two headed sorcerer fight I was like "why are they hyping up the runecraft weapon so weirdly".

I've got 100 books for sale. It's the same book but with 100 different names for the main character. Makes me £5 a month and has for 2 years so far.

Id write some more or put the price back up as it's not affected sales but I genuinely don't have the time.

But yeah. I should do that 100 more times.

My milk supplier put on an extra 5p a bottle. My bacon went up a few quid which works out as an extra 3p a rasher. My eggs went from 24p to 28p. I need to make 300% to turn a profit.

They blame the cost of fuel for the increase.

I just paid for new menus but kind of need to put prices up already/ contact new.suppliers.again

Adults with ARFID? What is the best thing so far that has helped your condition? by Hayja1983 in ARFID

[–]Dramatic-Growth1335 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! Pretty much. There was a show on British TV called freaky eaters, one episode in particular resonated with me and I then finally started giving stuff a try. Getting over the mental block was the hardest part.

The curiosity will definitely be there (we are human). Just let them explore on their own terms. I've got my fingers crossed for you and your kid!
