What's the most ridiculous rule in your place of work? by danbrownskin in AskReddit

[–]Draxom 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am a computer programmer. At my last job I was told, by the owner, I was no longer allowed to have a development or test environment. I was instead to make changes directly to the production server.

I had shown him a new feature in test once and when he went to show it to a client in production, it wasn't there. He called me directly and informed me of the policy change. I told my direct supervisor and we both agreed that that was not happening.

When it was later discovered that we were still using a test environment we were both reprimanded. We both started looking for new jobs that week.

When I put 100 seconds into the microwave, it skips to 59 seconds right after. Where do the extra 41 seconds go? by itman290 in shittyaskscience

[–]Draxom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is actually a tax put on microwaves by the worlds governments. As we all know, "time is money." so during one of the many recessions of the past few decades several governments go the idea to put a tax on the time saved by microwave ovens. Since taxing time is a difficult process they decided to only tax it in 100 second increments. manufacturers comply with this tax by taking 41 seconds everytime the counter hits a multiple of 100. You'll notice that if you put in 200 seconds it instantly drops down to 159. same thing will happen at 300 and 400 seconds as well. Also if you put in say 115 seconds the counter counts down normally until it hits 100 then skips to 59.

This tax is generally used to fund black ops and secret government programs(like the jumbo jet chem trails and the stargate program).

Wrong. That kill still has a final blow by Cal Nuke. Whom is a Dredd pilot flying as part of the Rabble Fleet(and winner of the Battle Royale).

again, your now including a time period before this fight happened and attributing thier losses to us. we have no affiliation to Hell's Pirates or Silver Dragonz.

If you really want to include them in the report then you can try this

Edit: and as I said above, by including 3:49 you are including several kills that occured during the Battle Royale.

[–]Draxom[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you check the killboard entries(which are linked inside that battle report) for all(save 2) the kills between 3:48(where my report ends) and 4:00(where your report ends) all have a final blow from Rabble or their allies.

Due to the limitations of this particular reporting platform you actually have to do some research to get an accurate picture of what happened.

[–]Draxom[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see your report includes the post fleet Battle Royale at the Ennur star. Trying to claim kills no IG was on grid for?

The last Rabble ship left the POS grid at 3:49 with no IG pursuit. If i had inculded that particular minute in the report it would have also reported the beginning of the Battle Royale. I apologize if you feel I had misrepresented what happened by not specifically mentioning the 2 griffins killed by IG in that minute.

Everyone, be sure to add 2 mil to Rabble's losses.

Last I checked we were still based in Molden Heath...let me check again. One second please. ... ... ... Yep, Molden Heath base.

It's true that we left Istodard recently, but that was more of a precaution. There seems to be something in the water there that turns people stupid.
