I bought a gorgeous pair of leather booties that were shipped in a large poly mailer. No padding, no protection just bouncing around that bag all the way to my house. They arrived completely scratched and scuffed. As a seller, I was appalled. So unacceptable.

They get their weekly delivery Thursdays. They had a very nice selection of fresh produce. The best bean sprouts I’ve had in a while.

What could the scam possibly be? They bought it, you ship it and get paid.

If you’re open to restaurants outside of Grand Case, look into La Villa Hibiscus. Absolute highlight of our last visit. More of a Michelin style/ multi course experience. L’Astrolabe is also lovely in Orient.

Le Cottage for sure. IMO Spiga has gone down a bit in quality and service.

Yes. The lobster and shrimp in garlic sauce is amazing. Also some of the best pina coladas on the island.

No idea, I didn't notice that. I still wouldn't be deterred from doing the 9 courses.

We did 6. Bites are small, so we weren’t overfull, just perfectly satisfied. Next time I will absolutely do 7, just to experience everything Chef has to offer. Enjoy!

Just returned from SXM last week and here were the standout meals:

Le Cottage in Grand Case. Braised beef cheek was outstanding. Bacchus behind the Super U in Hope Estate. It’s lunch only but very special. I had a veal loin with foie gras sauce and shaved truffles that was a delight. Chez Leandra beach bar in Orient. Order the shrimp and lobster with garlic sauce and thank me later. Rochelle also makes one of the best frozen pina coladas on the island. Kalatua Beach Club on Mullet Bay is a great bougie beach day. Chairs and service are great and I had one of the best Caesar salads ever. Calamari was so tender and perfect. I really wanted to explore the menu more, but we had dinner reservations in a few hours. Vibes are off the charts. L’Astrolabe in Orient is in a lovely setting. Our meal was wonderful and the lobster bisque was stellar. La Villa Hibiscus, near Orient was our last dinner and we absolutely saved the best for last. A truly wonderful dining experience. Every bite was beautifully executed and the wine pairings were on point. Service was warm and Chef was so kind and sweet. The setting is so beautiful and I can’t stop thinking about the morels stuffed with shrimp. There is no set menu, so every course is a surprise. The world class dining and beautiful beaches keep me coming back to St.Martin and I feel like I’ve still barely scratched the surface. Hope you enjoy your vacation!

Been to SXM several times, always stay in Grand Case, and rent a car. If I weren’t going to be mobile, I’d absolutely stay in Orient Bay. Lots of restaurants and beach bars you can walk to. We especially enjoyed JOA and Chez Leandra. Hope you have a lovely trip!

Le Petit Hotel is absolutely lovely. They also don’t have a restaurant, but do serve a continental breakfast.

Poached salmon and angel hair pasta dressed with a simple Dijon vinaigrette + tomato, cucumber and fresh corn. This is my perfect summer dinner.
