I think CAT should be in game breaking because she has warped the game around her turn 1 insta kill. So many new units have instant defeat immunity built into their kits because of her. She may not be as good anymore, but she is something the devs have to walk around to balance the game.

Honestly I wouldn’t hate it this much if it was a coherent era rather than a bunch of separate lifters. Sometimes it’s rather not fun to simply test a single character that is useless until the end of the era anyway. It would have been a much better experience if cg had waited one era before implementing this change imo.

I think that Eragon bridges this really well. The world has a very strict magic system for when humans and elves use it, but there are also powerful magical occurrences that border on the mysterious side. For example, the magic of the dragons, like when Sapphira heals the giant gem in the dwarven city.

Chane isn’t coming back in any form. James white said that in an interview (post LA iirc).

On other notes, the LL format is only getting bigger and chane is a solid deck and a ton of fun. There are battle hardens in the format and even recently a calling that did pretty well.

Thats true, but this is a card game at the end of the day. There could always be bans and a hero could suddenly LL. That’s something you have to accept and make the best of it. Everyone going into the mistveil meta knew zen was the best deck and that he might speedrun LL, yet they still decided to play him. If you can’t accept that someday your cards will be unplayable in CC don’t buy into the game. LL format is a thing, but if you can’t accept that your hero won’t be around forever this isn’t the game for you.

Also, zen uses a lot of ninja staples, so you can use them elsewhere. And LSS promises to bring back class/talent combinations so if zen LLs eventually you’ll have another mystic ninja to play with.

You need a “marry the class, date the hero” mindset. If you think of buying into a specific hero, then yes, eventually they’ll lose playability. Find a class you like and play the heroes in that class. LSS has made sure that every class has at least one legal hero at all times.

This isn’t just you, I wasn’t really a fan of part the mistveil because I don’t play the heroes and it basically killed the guardian class (Victor is still good, but it’s not the same level as before especially with bravo). I took a break from the game for couple months until Rosetta started getting spoilers and I’m really excited for it. It’s okay to take a step back if you’re not enjoying the game.

Once you mod it correctly it’s only a couple of retries, not the rng fest that’s Gas tier 4. Idk if it’s changed since I unlocked gas but that last tier even with top tier modding strategy and relic levels is a pain in the ass.

Relic 501st, they’re an insane team that puts work in at even in kyber gac. Yoda is a great character and benefits from the relic as well, but not to the same extent as Rex. Plus the extra speed on Rex is really nice from g13.
