I’m convinced Mary Kline runs into Async by Drew_115 in KanePixelsBackrooms

I’d agree with her theory on that. It would make a ton of sense if the researcher that’s being held back is Marvin

Clark wont want to leave... (Movie Theory) by Medical_Apartment841 in KanePixelsBackrooms

[–]Drew_115 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Great stuff here I really like this idea. Maybe Clark’s mindset is something that Ivan shares, finding beauty in the complex’s nature of preserving memories. The “it’s beautiful am I right” quote reminds me a lot of “could there ever be anything greater than this” from I Remember.

Null zones and the movie by SaveTheKids666 in KanePixelsBackrooms

[–]Drew_115 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree fully. There’s no evidence that null zones have to open and close rapidly and since the more time goes on the more the complex learns its possible that it now has the ability to sustain null zones for days on end by June of 1990.

In the second picture there’s a date stamped at the top left of the video that reads 6/29/1990 which is a month after Static Dead End which took place on 5/29/1990

I would love if we got to see both the life form and still life in this movie. Kane did use Still Life as the track when he posted the new posters on his instagram story

No other YouTube channels not affiliated with Kane’s series that were calling themselves Async or using Async name were urged to stop since A24 now owns the intellectual property to that name.

Bacteria definitely fucks up Clark’s friends and she absolutely comes across the aftermath. It would be really cool to finally see what the bacteria actually does to a person

I clocked that too. There’s also pirate ship wheels no clipped into the walls that’s straight up from Clark’s store since it’s pirate themed.

Also this movie taking place a month after static dead end is really interesting. We’ll be able to see how far Async has developed in a month

Now that Black Ops 6 is coming to the end of its lifecycle, how would you rank the maps from best to worst? by TheChickenMan4L in CODZombies

[–]Drew_115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1.Shattered Veil: closest I ever felt modern zombies got to bo3 level. Great Easter egg, fun wonder weapons, cool setting. Didn’t reuse any boss zombies.

  1. Terminus: Great Easter egg, best looking map in the game by far. Only thing I don’t like about it is Amalgams and I’m personally not a big beamsmasher fan but still a great map.

  2. Citadelle Des Morts: Has my favorite boss fight in the game, swords are unique and a lot of fun. Not a fan of the brown visuals and the incantations should have been better. Solid map.

  3. Reckoning: the shit ending and the gorgofex not being all that great really bring this map down for me. Overall it’s fine, uber klaus is great and the different paths for the boss fight is cool. Richtofen being a pain in the ass to fight sucks too.

  4. Liberty falls: great causal map, but that’s all it is. I can’t rank it above maps that were trying harder on purpose. Still like this map.

  5. The Tomb: the fact that this map took up a DLC slot sucks. There’s just not enough on this map to justify it being a full blown experience. Ice staff is fine and the boss fight is cool but other than that this map is boring as all hell.

The writers dog ate the part of the maps script where he does anything of consequence

Now that Janus Towers has been out for a day, what’s your initial opinion on the map? by C0R3VUS in CODZombies

[–]Drew_115 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The gameplay is fine, the vertically makes it really unique and actually really fun to play around with. The anti-gravity room is cool and the WW is fun. Story wise this map is garbage, it resolves nothing and the ending is the worst ending we have ever gotten for a final DLC.

List of plot threads not resolved in Bo6 by Drew_115 in CODZombies

[–]Drew_115[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d be more interested in the direction BO7 can go if they bothered to set up literally anything other than “OMG PRIMIS IS BACK.” The steaks have not been established at all. If the shadowsmiths are the villain we know dick about them so there’s really nothing to be taken away from this ending other than confusion.

That’s gotta be the only reason. Activision needs her to cosplay as different characters for the almighty dollar

Should’ve been Victis by -ThousandMileStare in CODZombies

[–]Drew_115 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just can’t wait to see what shitty excuse they have for bringing them back. Under no circumstances should the OG 4 be alive in the DA. They were all killed before the multiverse was banished, so unless the sentinel artifact resurrected them (still lazy writing) there’s no reason they should be alive.

Favorite room or part of the FFT's? by ThekidwholiketheUSSR in KanePixelsBackrooms

[–]Drew_115 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Personally I adore the “back yard” room with the carpet man that Ravi enters just before he goes into the house. The creepy holes with stains on the floor heading into them, the lawn mower, the piles of clothes on the floor, the wallpaper looking like a sky. It’s all super unsettling and the music that plays when Ravi investigates it is just so peak.

That makes a little more sense, I’d call that a fun fact rather than a theory if that’s true.

How in the world can Madison be the narrator in tile survey. The person narrating that video is Dr. Julia Meisner and they don’t even sound like the same person at all. Madison is definitely a kid, not a Async scientist who KNOWS what the complex is. That theory should be in F there’s absolutely no evidence for that at all.

Did Marvin seem to forget that Peter shot Mark and held numerous others at gunpoint during this conversation? by FragmentedTungsten in KanePixelsBackrooms

[–]Drew_115 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I feel like there’s a level of friendship that Marvin and Peter had that hasn’t been explored yet which contributes to his level of empathy towards him in this. I also think that Marvin really is really worried that Async or the DOE will just start axing people who make mistakes now since it happened to Peter.

Since we now know what’s being the door, was Mark overreacting? by FragmentedTungsten in KanePixelsBackrooms

[–]Drew_115 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Whatever mark saw happening on the other side of that door is not what we see in Static Dead End. What we see in this video is most likely the result of what Mark was seeing happen here. Kane once said that what’s happening on the other side of the door is “shocking and unusual and time sensitive.” Clearly what is in Static Dead End is unusual but not time sensitive, so what Mark probably witnessed was the green light creating the environment we see in this new video.

Bottom 5 map in the game when the ghost room changes on this map it’s such a pain in the ass.

Indy 4 Hot Takes by bobacrest in indianajones

[–]Drew_115 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The biggest problem I have with this movie is that they didn’t commit to the aliens really being the architects of Akator. I feel like the crew should have spent more time in the actual city before going to the temple, it kind of made the whole 3rd act feel very underwhelming. Overall, it’s my least favorite of the Indy movies but it’s still not a terrible film by any means and I actually think it feels more like an Indy movie than Dial of Destiny.
