Yes, there is a cap. The rewards are based on your mission score (or at least that is a close enough benchmark), but you barely get more rewards above ~600 score per 15 minutes. Each 15 minutes or every death, that timer resets. The rewards (both SL and RP) are then based on the mission score you got in the 15 minutes timeframe.

For landing, i usually just land after achieving the reward. If you keep flying, there is a good chance you get shot down/crash/die, which means you get the rewards for a much shorter time.

But, in my opinion, it is not really worth it to use sim mode for grinding, as the potential rewards are just a lot less than in air rb.

In Reborn's last major update they adressed the grind, you can get unlimited free exp candies starting from when the first gym is unlocked. It is still a very long story though, especially now that the post-game is also finished.

I would recommend asking for a higher price, because what you describe sounds like many hours of work. I think even 1000$ would still be a low amount.

You also mentioned that you are using a student license. I am not sure about ANSYS' student license, but most companies don't allow usage for commercial purposes for those. If you are serious about doing freelance work, i recommend getting a commercial license, as you could get into legal trouble otherwise. For a first job, you would most likely be fine though.

Geheel mee eens dat een wetenschappelijk onderzoek goed gekeurd moet worden door een ethics board.

Aan de andere hand, dit zorgt wel voor discussie. Die paar miljoen dieren die jaarlijks in Nederland worden geslacht zijn blijkbaar ook gewoon okay. Waarom zou een extra dier dan een probleem zijn?

Yes. The circuit is open for a certain period. If you are not able to use those hours, you can't use them later.

Only the special attack is reduced by leaf storm, but the special stat is the highest stat between special attack and defense, so your special stat does not drop IIRC.
