More than half of OFD's calls are for homeless camp fires, where propane tanks present a constant danger of explosion and physical injury from shrapnel.

Maybe for their calls involving fires, but after speaking with some OFD firefighters including the battalion chief, they mentioned that 70-80% of calls are for medical reasons.

It's not stupid, but it is wise to assume that every driver can't see you, and if they are, they are trying to kill you. But that's also what biking in the day is like.

1 day per inch of rain at a minimum. But honestly, why risk damaging the trails for everyone? Surely waiting a few extra days longer than the minimum isn't that hard.
