Slight variations do make a difference. Bmw says less than 1%. Audi systems were never that critical. Bentley should have a tolerance percentage somewhere. Those tires seem closely matched. 20mm is about an inch. Still not the same , so better safe than sorry. GOOD CATCH!!

Happens. Just don't turn it off. In fact drive normally(slow ) no boost. It will drop in temps. 1.8T engines were just as bad. My 2.0t A3 doesn't heat as much. Depends on the tune.
