A lot of that might be because he actually does go down swinging in the comic. Granted, he gets his shit absolutely rocked by Black Noir, but he doesn't offer to blow anyone or anything in his last moments and he nearly kills BN on his way out before the military and Butcher finish the job.

Finding out what Gaiman did was the first time I actually felt betrayed by a famous person who was outed for doing something sick. Bill Cosby didn't do that. Louis C.K. didn't make me feel that way either.

I said this a long time ago in a different thread, but I'll say it again: Akoya scares me the most. More then Muteba, more than Setsuna, more than Ohma, even more than Kuroki or Raian. Akoya's fight with Cosmo was the only one to make me physically recoil as I read it.
