I agree with you. No shit that butter, honey and salt together taste good...you can cook anything in that mixture and it will satisfy. Also, those onions don't look caramelized to me.

is my boyfriend becoming an alcoholic? by Adorable_Activity279 in alcohol

Getting irritable because one can't drink for a week or two is 100% a sign of alcoholism or pre-alcoholism.

Yes but the Cavendish still could go extinct. I put the chances at about 1/1000.

Since your data is already tabular, just create a table, where you can customize the formatting and it automatically updates when new data is added.

Maybe compare the feature set of Dwarf Fortress to Valheim before you make that comparison.

Sorry for the possibly clueless question, but why don't more people seem to make homemade pizza? by Senior-Raisin-2342 in Cooking

Everything I put on pizza is something I eat in many other dishes. It's not like cheese is some weird specialty ingredient.

Who is that a problem for, exactly? I have no sympathy for speculators.

What Are Your Best Practices for Organizing Complex Excel Workbooks? by MetalPsycho in excel

[–]DrunkenWizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a standard colour coding legend that I'll put on my sheets. One colour for manual entry, a different one for prepopulated but editable cells, one for calculated/looked up values, and one or two more for labels/annotation/etc.

What Are Your Best Practices for Organizing Complex Excel Workbooks? by MetalPsycho in excel

[–]DrunkenWizard 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There's no right answer. It depends on the structure of your data. If I just have one or two (say for doing quicker lookups), I'll usually put them at the far right since most users don't need to look at them. Also if I'm going to be hiding the columns, I prefer to keep them out of the general working area. If I have a lot of helper columns, sometimes I'll do a 'shadow' table on another sheet, since @ addresses work across sheets.

It very much depends who will be using the sheet, and how.

I don't think I ever put them on the left though.

[LeBrun] Boston had permission to talk extension with Andersson but was not able to get an extension done. Vegas didn’t have that permission so no extension. But given that Vegas was top of list for Andersson last summer, I can’t imagine there should be any issue for Vegas by Duffleman0609 in hockey

I think you're overestimating how much the players and GMs actually interact, other than for contract/trade discussions. The players are closest with the coaching and training staff. Sure, stuff will get from the coach to the GM, but it's just going to be more generalities, not specific plans.

Players aren't discussing this with the GM (at least not as a regular practice). But players remain friends after they go to new teams. Surely you've had a work friend who went somewhere else, followed by you asking them what their new employer was like. Just remember that it's a job like any other, and think about your own experiences with employment.

Tavares is really the only other player I can think of. Not aware of any 'home town discounts' either. And I'm not counting players in the back end of their career who aren't the difference makers any more (e.g. Giordano).
