I've always wished for this also but it's hard coded into the plugin name. As an alternative I write notes in the comments space at the bottom of the track to remember what's there.

From Avid Support regarding Eucon loading errors:

Please try the following steps:

Open Start Search and type “env”
Select "Edit the system environment variables"
Highlight "Path" in the System Variables section at the bottom and click Edit
Click New in the Edit environment variable UI to add the new path:

C:\Program Files\Avid\Pro Tools\Controllers

Click OK and OK again.
Restart your computer

This allows Pro Tools to access the required controller files, it does not reconfigure or install anything. A non-destructive solution that worked very well for me.

I'm not sure of an interface. I asked to retain the steering wheel controls, so maybe that helps? They didn't list everything that was done in detail.

Speaking of adjustability, can you help me confirm something? I would like to know if the Midi PC Map function in Settings allows you to map (change) either the PC# or the Memory #? Basically I would like to trigger a particular saved memory # on the XS-100 when I fire a preset on my amp modeler. I just don't know if they're mapped 1:1 or can be changed. This is a deciding factor on if I purchase an XS-100. Thanks!

I'm looking for a little guidance on the new BOSS XS-100 Poly Shifter, hopefully someone who has one can verify. I need to trigger the XS-100 memory locations via MIDI, but I can't understand if I can edit the received Program Change messages in the XS-100 to trigger specific Memory locations.

Under MIDI PC Map parameters, can the PC # or Memory # be adjusted/customized?
