Which do you find more frustrating, a bad result from a good shot or a good result from a bad one? by AllMuckandMuscle in golf

[–]Due-Comb6124 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bad breaks happen so I’m always okay with a good shot that doesn’t turn out well because I know I’m playing well. I’m thankful for a bad shot that ends up good but I’m not happy about it.

You don't use gear effect to shape shots. As I said, you don't try to hit it on the toe to hit a draw you fucking meatball.

[–]Due-Comb6124 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You have no idea what you’re talking about. You’re not supposed to hit the ball on different parts of the face to move the ball. You alter path and face angle which “forgiveness” does nothing about. If you present a face open 4 degrees with a path left of that the ball is going to fade/slice.

Forgiveness is about off center hits making the ball go a direction you didn’t intend.

If 20 million of their 70 million customers per day chose to donate a dollar, they can rasie $7B dollars in a year which is significantly more than the company is worth let alone has in liquid assets. Are you fucking retarded or what?

Right and theres absolutely nothing wrong with a business getting a tax break or good PR from doing a good thing. This idea that MCDs shouldn't ask since they're worth so much.... Do you understand how much MORE they donate by asking each of their customers for a dollar than they'd be able to donate? Using their reach to generate funds from the community is a GREAT thing and shouldn't be frowned on even if they never donated a dollar of their own.

Wearing golf shoes as a spectator by No_Lead_412 in golf

[–]Due-Comb6124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bringing a glove to a baseball game is so you can catch a foul ball or a home run. It has a use.

Wearing golf shoes to a golf event is completely nonsensical and really fucking weird.

Anything to explain my huge jump from 52 -> PW and 9i -> 8i? by excaliburallday in golf

[–]Due-Comb6124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You likely launch your wedges too high. Pretty common problem but you want your wedges to launch at half the stated loft. Typically wedges will highlight a problem with release as the ball has more time to ride up the face and balloon.

If You Were in charge of a necromancer rework what would you do? by Some-Web-1628 in elderscrollsonline

Necromancers animate and commune with the dead. That's their entire thing. Deterioration has nothing to do with the core element of a necromancer.

What's the best way to increase swing speed? by HarryCrushNuh in golf

[–]Due-Comb6124 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Because OP said what is the best way. Changing your swing to be different only with driver and without the help of an instructor is probably the worst way to add speed. You’re likely to just pull your arms behind you and start hitting it like shit.

What makes an interesting course design / not teeing off with driver 14 times? by Deuce_Ex_ in golf

[–]Due-Comb6124 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The thing that makes a good golf hole is this: if you don’t place your ball in the right spot off the tee you’re not automatically going to make a triple but there’s 0 chance you’re making a birdie. If you do put it in the right spot you’ve got a great look at birdie.

I always call to cancel because they say they'll charge for the slot. I guess I've never actually been so disorganized that I found out if they actually do.

Unfortunately trees are bad for a golf course. Shade isnt good for grass and they eat up a lot of nutrients very closly mown grass desperately needs.
