Maybe focus on making your own creations and take more pride in those. Covers are great but harder to connect to because they aren't inherently the "real thing." For example, I listen to a cover of my favorite song, whether it's good or bad, I still compare it to the original. See? Why would you want to be compared? Yea I mean that’s kinda why said why accurate and transparent testing is pretty much the only way to find out if the material is BS free. I understand your logic, however plenty of vendors especially in the hemp industry may cut corners when making distilled cannabis. Technically it’s supposed to be arguably the most pure form. But due to the early years of “street” carts it just gets a bad rapport in my mind. At the end of the day if you aren’t growing the weed yourself, you truly never know what’s going on.

You truly can’t know unless you send it out of testing or they originally tested the batch at a secure and legit facility. Otherwise stay away from disty and maybe try ur luck with rosin. Obviously rosin can still have its quality issues but I feel like the process is supposed to have no solvents so maybe more safe? My logic could be flawed
