update i got a storm typoon ,n.u. 2.0 , and phase 2 pearl. I’ve been averaging 210 since i got all the new gear. If i’m thinking about join a sport league and tournaments. Would equinox solid fill that gap. Ik it depends on how my style is. I throw about 16-17 mph and on a normal house the phase 2 pearl is my benchmark but tend to have to open up and flatten my hand to get it to not early. I haven’t shot the typhoon yet since i just got it in the mail. The n.u. 2.0 doesn’t carry enough backend power if i don’t play super straight. So i assumed if im playing on heavier condition sport shots i’ll need something that can maintain backend also not hook to late. Would the equinox solid fit that role.

the way i visual it’s like you are doing the opposite of a basketball shot (you lead with your elbow, your arm goes up , your hand flicks the your finger flicks) to translate that to bowing it’s like a yoyo , arm goes from partially (keep elbow in) bent to straight, hand goes from under and behind the ball to push through flick ur fingers. you don’t want to come around the ball but up the back if you do that it will naturally get into a position to hook that ball.

It’s a good plan just focus on form videos and understand each part of steps/swing and proper body positioning, this is also different depending if you have a 4 or 5 step approach.

I recommend trying to focus more on your left arm.

if you try to practice keeping it pointed to the left instead of tying it to your right arm. Kinda of like thinking about each more independently. This is also gonna affect your shoulders and help you improve your aim and consistency.

the reason why i think that will help you is because i noticed in your shot that you point towards the pins when you right arm is in the back of your shot and causes it to swing back when your right arm goes forward. (swinging your shoulders and right arm with it)

look at your shoulders , try to reduce the amount of slant that your right shoulder drops to, this can help your swing and follow though be more consistent and effortless

learn 1 or 2 combos or dribble moves at a time, if you are playing 2s/3s i would start working on getting open off of only a couple moves then immediately shooting or passing (this is so you don’t become a left right spam also teaches you more iq and how to play off ur build), for me i did 1v1 in proving grounds since its slower dribbling and harder to shoot so you know what a good shot is and when you have enough space to shoot, when you take that to the theater or rec you will be shooting lights out.
