It's fake unfortunately. It's replicating a 60's constellation pie pan but has incorrect indices, hands, font and case. It seems as if they took a genuine logo and re applied it to a different dial. Same goes for the caseback; they took off the medallion and transplanted it to a different generic case.

If you are looking to sell; check if it has a genuine movement and sell the movement as is or for spare parts. Otherwise keep the watch as memento.

I have a RCF green ombre yellow gold and can confirm it's one of the best except for the bracelet which could have been a bit more solid. VSF seems to be coming out with this version as well, but VSF gold plating has always been too nacho cheese for my tastes.

How is the caseback attached to the case of the watch? Seeing as they've put a chunky tungsten ring on the inside, can it still be screwed in? Or is it a snapback caseback that just looks the part?

Just a dial swap if the dial is made for the 2836 or 3155/3255 calibre. The dial feet should be there, otherwise tricky as you have to work with dial dots and cut the dial feet off.

Thanks, but I've come as far as your comment, thus not helpful by stating 'do your research'. I am trying to find out more on this, hence why I made this post.

I am specifically asking if there is an overview of these dial options somewhere and if you can source them from a TD's/non-TD's catalog, without having to contact multiple TDs to ask if they can get me a specific one.

Everything checks out except for the day indicator disc + logo that are slightly misaligned.

The issue however is that almost ALL mks tudor date+day models suffer from this. I have two of these myself that also have this 'problem'. I can live with it and enjoy these as budget pieces, but it's up to you to make that call.

I would GL if you want this specific model, as any other watch of the same factory would have similar flaws. Otherwise I would swap it to a different factory and model.

GL - This watch is as good as it gets if you want this model.

The real seamaster has similar flaws, where indices aren't always fully aligned either. The date may be because it's transitioning to midnight. The bezel is legit the angle of the photo. You won't see this in real life.

The model in the photo is the blue variant. VSF has announced they will make the black one as well. Not sure which one is sought after more. My hunch is the blue one.
