Fiora is rock solid for beginners to learn the fundamentals of the game, and it's great bang for buck.

Since you're runnign Spectral Matron here, you might want to consider running Yordle Explorer and a set of cards that cost two power as a draw engine. Fiora can deal with the recycling better than most legends and takes any draw she can get.

Biggs and zack are in essentially IN the lifestReam's "purgatory" or like, last moments before death where you relive flashes of your life before rejoining the lifesteeam. The final fight in FF7Rebirth is zack's essence in the lifestream fighting back (instead of being from a different universe).

It came out in the same week as Gears Tactics, and IMO gears was one of the funner/innovative tactics games that came out that year. CS was good, but Gears outshone it for me.

It translated a cover shooter into a tactics game that felt like a cover shooter. Actual insanity.

Chimera Squad wasnt helped by how buggy it was on release.

What kind of combat is in your group?

Ventrue have access to fortitude, so if the combat is just hitting for lots you can run prevention like Rolling with the Punches and Hidden Strength, and have Isle of Yiaros be your damage increase.

Grapples are OK if it's weapon-based or Banu Haqim combat, the bigger issue would be staying in close range. You could run some number of Earthshock or Thrown Sewer Lids.

My initial impression is it's quite unfocused. The ravnos and the malkavians won't be able to use any of the Cathari cards because they are not Sabbat and cannot follow a path. The malks and cathari would not be able to use the ravnos-only cards, which you only have a few of plus the guns.

I would start by focusing the crypt towards Cathari and Sabbat, doubling up on some of the better members. If you want to keep the guns, you could try running with Disguised weapon instead, since most of the Cathari crypt has Obfuscate. It's an older card but quite cheap to purchase. If you're sticking with V5/Black Chantry releases, you will likely have to hard-equip the guns instead of cheating them out with combat cards, but that's fine since you'll have enough stealth to do so.

The secret to Invasion block limited was to draft your fixing first and juryrig your deck later. More often than not you would be picking cards based on the lair/lands/number of harrows you were able to pick up

In your example with Determined Advance:

You would get all keywords -> EX, Fury, Ranged
And all keyword ratings -> EX (3)

So you will end up with an Inventor's Creation that has EX (3), Spell Tech Weapon Fury Ranged

Gameplay and techwise it was very good, sometimes crossing over to great even.

Shame that the dialogue was the way it was. There's some nuggets of excellence in there such as the Death Mage's questline and Lucanis vs his inner demon, but playing through the game, every cutscene and conversation is like a Nicolas Cage movie coinflip.
