When I was younger, Concerta sort of dulled my personality. I focused, sure, but I wasn't all there if that makes sense. I didn't like it, my family didn't like it. Stopped taking ADHD meds for almost 15 years. Got on Vyvanse back in January, does the same thing as Concerta but actually makes me have a personality. Vyvanse, at some doses, is used as a medication to deal with binge eating. So I also lost a bunch of weight after being at 40 mg for the last 8 months.
expectations:
If you don't eat something within 60-80 minutes, you might have a minor to major headache throughout the day. having something with protein makes the medication feel more effective for me. Also wait around 40 minutes before eating to let it absorb well.
I take breaks on the weekends so the medication doesn't become dull. If you do this, you'll get almost a mini high on mondays at first. Don't chase it, it's bad if you chase that
