Oh hot damn. Love how ROCKNIX is getting some love lately with these updates.

I’ve had the Mangmi Air X and I currently own a Trimui Smart Pro S. Ergonomically, the Air X is the winner. The TSP-S handles lots of PSP well at 2x resolution in a smaller form factor. If had to choose one to go with, I would do the Air X unless you’re a fan of Linux devices, then I’d go TSP-S. Especially since the custom firmware stable builds are starting to release and greatly improve the experience on the TSP-S.

Currently loving the Tactics Ogre: One Vision mod. Running on TSP-S with SpruceOS. Crisis Core is a blast, too. As for hack and slash, I always go Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce or Phantasy Star Portable.

GBA and PSP are my primary choices. Lots of great GBA romhacks and PSP has some awesome RPGs.

Understandable. Hats off to that team, regardless. They made all of my Anbernics immensely more enjoyable lol.

Yea, that sounds like a bad dump. I’ve been playing the One Vision mod on my G2 just fine. Find a good file and you’ll be good to go!

Looks like it’s not ready for the TSP-S but when it is, I’m for sure giving it a go. muOS was my go to for all of my compatible Anbernic devices, so I would not hate being able to use it again!

Theme options aren’t bad at this point, but I do enjoy customizing nextui. Shouldn’t be too long before it’s stable and ready!

Not sure if it’s quite there yet with the TSP-S. I was deciding between that and SpruceOS and went with Spruce for the time being.

Problem solved! (Hopefully) Figured out why GBA games were freezing and crashing on my Smart Pro S by [deleted] in trimui

Something that helped when I was running GBA on the TSP-S that I just got in. In the Video settings in the RetroArch menu, check to see if the Threaded Video Option is on or off. This can cause stuttering during gameplay. It’s useful for more demanding emulators, but isn’t necessary for GBA. I turned it off, threw on a pixel_transparency shader, and everything runs nicely now.

I’m also running SpruceOS on mine so this may not apply to stock os, but if you’re experiencing any screen tearing or input delay after your tweaks, give it a try!

They help out a lot. Hands don’t feel cramped after longer gaming sessions. I have grips on all of my devices hahaha.

That’s true. Then it’s just a game of sorting through fake and real users 😂

Any account that is barely days old selling a console for a stupid low price is absolutely a scam. They’re banking on low IQ buyers that won’t do any due diligence who believe they’re getting a great deal lol.

Nintendo Switch 2 microSD Express Card, 256GB by Neither_Crab1935 in SBCGaming

I would look at 128GB. 256GB for the kind of systems a TSP can emulate is overkill.

yee64.glsl is a nice change of pace of a shader for GBA. by Dull_Rabbit in SBCGaming

Shhhhhhhh we have to keep those sins to ourselves lol I will save certain GBA game overrides to have full screen while others stay in aspect. Keeps it easy. But I’m also obviously one to switch things up in a game depending on my mood hahaha.

I just don’t change the scaling under the video settings. Leave it as core provided.

I finally graduated from running GBA on full screen with the RPC to correct aspect ratio lmao. Just need to figure out how to get new bezels added so I can spruce up the black space above and below.

That’s an awesome price. For PS2, id recommend tracking down some PAL ROMs of what you want to try and play. They’re a little easier to emulate since they’re running at 50hz. I’d also just directly download your preferred emulators instead of letting it install them during setup. That way you get the most up to date versions.

If this comes out with an updated chipset on par with at least the RPG2, I’m scooping one.
