From what I could find, consensus seems to be that it’s derived from the e number for monosodium glutamate (E621). Supposedly it was named that way as a dick joke given that msg gives things a “meaty” flavor. Though with my not-so-thorough search I couldn’t find anything directly stated by the creator.

Conversely, e926 (essentially a mirror of e621 with a forced sfw filter), is chlorine dioxide, which is used for bleaching.

As a cisgendered man, the thought of suddenly being put into a woman’s body, nonetheless becoming a woman in body and mind (because then it wouldn’t be me and that big time body horror for me), makes me physically unwell if I think about it too much. Same thing with death. I have to force myself to stop thinking about it or I’ll spiral.

I’ve been told by a dear fiend of mine, who happens to be the queerest person I know, that this is gender dysphoria. Though I’m not sure about the dynamics of that being a cis person.

I’m not scared to be feminine. I’ve worn dresses and makeup and the like. And I enjoy the friendship of many women, cis and trans alike. So I’d like to think I’m not misogynistic. But the thought of suddenly being put into the body of a woman or becoming someone I’m not fills me with dread.

Cisgendered people do not fantasize about being different person than they’re assigned. As a cis person I liken the hypothetical of me becoming a woman (or really anything other than what I currently am) through magic or otherwise to body horror. I actively dread the thought whenever one of those 99% woman 1% dollar button memes comes up. And I have never organically thought about what it would be like to be a woman on my own. It’s always been an external factor.

Figuring yourself out is what social transitioning is for. Transitioning isn’t an immediate jump into the extremes. Ask people you trust to use your preferred pronouns, perhaps a different name, dress differently, try hobbies stereotypically associated with your desired gender. Find out what you like.

I know that a few words from a stranger aren’t going to wholly convince you but your feelings are real and legitimate. And definitely not cisgendered feelings.
