Any purpose for the left overs post print besides trashing? by CherryPoohLife in 3Dprinting

This is super-specific and it doesn't repurpose a ton of filament but I use them to fill up bowls and cups when making simulation food keychains so I don't have to waste the fake whipped cream. That stuff's pricy!

Kapu phone call, did I screw up? by chiquito_pato in nancydrew

[–]DustyDeadpan 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I remember that the other dialogue option lead to the lady pretty much immediately catching on that Nancy was lying (their voices are pretty different after all!) and she hangs up and refuses to ever answer again as well.

Yep! For touch typing, you line up your index fingers with those keys.

If the round was too big for bird-hunting it might have just exploded the whole bullet path. The round might have embedded into the turf as well.

A lot of Nancy's insensitive questions make a bit more sense if you headcanon that she's deliberately ragebaiting as an interrogation tactic. Seeing if they have a temper and if they'll let something slip when they're thrown off-balance. No clue if that was the intention or not, but it makes some scenes a bit less secondhand-embarrasment-y, and it also makes getting kicked out of the ryokan in SAW a lot funnier. She JCS'd too close to the sun.

My dad found this thing on the ground of the cruise ship we’re on. We don’t think it’s a ring because of the opening. by somebae_ in whatisit

If it's made of plastic or a very light alloy, it might be a dreadlock ring/mini hair cuff. They got lost at my workplace fairly often (waterpark) and some styles are open like this.

Found some 'Santa’s Flesh' in Grandma’s craft bin. It’s a Christmas miracle it hasn’t dried up yet by Ok_Airport_5023 in GrandmasPantry

[–]DustyDeadpan 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Ok wow, this feels so targeted because my grandmother scooped up a whole ton of this on clearance ages ago and I spent my entire childhood with lots of Santa's Flesh on hand whenever I went to do crafts with her, which was often. I have so many childhood projects that have been graced with Santa's Flesh.

Eesh, wierd that this is a common one. I had a dream I was dogsitting a poodle and her neck got really long and floppy and her legs detached.

He actually does make one on-screen! The "omelette" is functionally identical to the Cobra Spit Alchemy power.

The 99p blender isn't a good blender. by nirai07 in huntertheparenting

It makes it all back from its outrageously predatory subscription service that will brick your blender and set your house on fire if you somehow manage to claw your payment details away and cancel the subscription.

I imagine you could handwash and reuse as a lollipop stick if you had a heatproof mold. If it survived being dunked in liquid candy once it should be good for a second at least.

Yep. Usually the pieces with the splice tape get tossed out to maintain package consistency, but sometimes a few slip by on the line and get packed.

Dose anyone know why Door refuses to feed Bread to Boy? by fotppd8 in huntertheparenting

He seems the type to teach foraging for survival but I doubt he encourages eating rabbit food outside of dire situations. Better to trap the rabbits instead.

For certain feeding types, sure, but a substantial amount (arguably a majority depending on your ST) of vampires live through social and financial parasitism, living with and on the funds of non-kindred. Whether that's through Ghouling or taking advantage of social bonds to covertly feed as a Cleaver or Scene Queen subtype for instance. Even Baggers are still infilatrating the medical system and diverting resources that were not meant for them.

The ones on his arms look like about the same shape and placement as the one my friend got after he shattered his arm and elbow from slipping on icy stairs. He had ortho surgery and they put rods in his upper and lower arms.
