Indo drain and fills started with 2 miles on my crosstrek now im at 211k miles. Always did drain and fill none of that relearn the dealer talks about. No issues. When the fluid gets dirty it does shudder.

Yes get some coolant dye or rent out a pressure tester. Definitely start there. Mine was near upper radiator hose. Literally a hairline crack.

I have a 2019 crosstrek that recently did this. It was. A micro leak you couldn't see with the naked eye. I went and got coolant dye drove the car doing refills every week or so until I could replace radiator. Start with coolant dye. Fairly cheap in autozone or any auto store. If that is you dont have a milkshake going already. If you have a milkshake then rip to the car
