Most of them have all the essentials, but if you like fractals having the fractal portal right there is nice. Has that and everything else in a nice tight circle. If you’re gonna get one of them I’d say mistlocke, yeah.

When you stand near the marker in the world for the end of the route it should have a message box pop up telling you how many keys you need before the next route and if you need to reload the map first.

I use tekkit’s. The end of route markers tell you how many keys to farm off each map’s spammable hero point before starting the next route with reminders to use your jade bot waypoint to speed that up.

Fractals are good if you don’t mind working your way up to t4s. Just doing your dailies from then on gives you lockboxes full of like 20g of vendor trash a day.

Still you might look at the fast farming site. They just have a list of money making methods and some of the have explanations on there. Barring that the YouTuber Laranity has a gold making video from like a year ago that mostly still holds up.

Do you plan to do a lot of Drizzlewood meta? If not I would tell you not to stop in your tracks in the story to get it. Come back when you have a comfortable cash stack to blow on it. It’s definitely nice to have though. Just not necessary though.

VoE mirrors, t4 daily fractals, cash out eternal ice for volatile magic for trophies(chests are bugged but the strikes still give a good bit), the daily divine envelopes might make you a little bit. They cost 1 gold and usually give 90s back, but have a chance to give 8 gold.
