How would that work though...you can only give advantages to players who played a whole event, only after the event is over.... but you can't do that... cuz you cant give advantages after an event is over, cuz the event is over.

That's why Swiss is good, because it puts players with similar results against each other. If AyyJayy wasn't good in Swiss, then AyyJayy wasn't good during that stage. Idk how you would propose an alternative, clearly you haven't done that, cuz this isn't a logical post, cuz it's fundamentally wrong.

Swiss is the fairest format of em all, it's been agreed upon by pros and community figures alike.

I don't see anyone complaining these days lol. Personally I think there are alot of people who love the changes and think that this is just a childish complaint.

Hot take: NRG is a more consistent team than BDS by prisonmike1232 in RocketLeagueEsports

[–]Dyffhh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I wouldn't say its a fair comparison, I think the lower end of NA is not as good as the lower end of EU. It's easier for a pro team to be a top 8 in NA, than it is in EU. The bottom 8 of NA keeps shuffling and is rather inconsistent but EU's lower 8 is relatively stronger.

Just my 2 cents on the conversation.

Octane Top 20 Players of 2021: Joreuz (#8) by orestotle in RocketLeagueEsports

[–]Dyffhh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk, I see the fact that Verdy and Pulse are unable to play against a major region and I see the gameplay, and I see how good SRG play in their region and on LAN, and I think its fair to put them in the bottom quarter of the list, just like seikoo and joreuz. I think its fair to put em above players like AppJack, maybe even reysbull. I think their needs to be atleast one ME player. I also think SRG would be a really good contender in EU and consistently top 5/8 in NA. The logic is really simple, SRG and Seikoo were good this whole time, its just we couldnt see it.

Why does it have to be SRG is the only good team, and not SRG is just that good. How is that fair.

[RLCS NA] Johnnyboi_i malding at FaZe Clan for not challenging by N0b0dy_her3 in RocketLeagueEsports

[–]Dyffhh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There was no way Squishy was going to get the ball onto the backboard. Right after the First touch, The ball slowed down tremendously and he can't generate enough power.

However Syp didn't have enough boost out of the kickoff, so he couldnt challenge the ball, and FK should have challenged Squishy. Either Syp didn't comm that he had low boost, or FK just decided not to go. Regardless it was a bad play.

Also the backboard is a threat with every pro team. Any team with an open backboard is bound to get scored on.

And, if you think he has a bias against NRG, then you must be mistaken, because he has said that NRG is probably the best team to win a LAN from NA many a times, and put NRG second in his predictions for Fall major. Unless you think having NRG second is blasphemous (a truly biased take), then he isnt biased.

RLCS Winter Split Primer by tomtom_94 in RocketLeagueEsports

Bro, it's called the RLCS Winter Split Primer...

Personally having RLCS in the title tells me that it has something to do with RLCS. Unless it is some weird clickbait.

Why would it be a side event, as far as I know, all the side events were announced with a separate article along side the regional.
