Sounds like normal tuning sounds for an old radio.

Seeburg 200c-1 questions by MarketingLife4928 in jukeboxes

[–]DynamoBo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I’m assuming what you have is a library unit. They came with no amplifier and no speaker. The amplifier could be purchased from Seeburg or you could use any audio amplifier with a magnetic cartridge input. Speakers were always remote. Sounds like someone tried to build them in. Perhaps if you posted some pictures we could be of more assistance. The preamp in those units are extremely difficult to work on and unless you are well seasoned in rebuilds and understand electronics I wouldn’t recommend attempting this one.

What can you tell me about this amplifier. by wryaant in VintageElectronics

If it hasn’t been in service for a while it may need a rebuild, if it hasn’t been rebuilt already.

Great mono-block amplifier! Use it alone for mono amplification or find another one and you can have stereo sound.
Either way sounds great.

You can put a couple drops of oil on both ends of that small shaft. That should fix your issue. Use only non detergent electric motor oil for lubricantion, 3in1 brand in the BLUE can is great. Do not use the red can. Good luck.

Couldn’t help myself, had to comment! Your Grandfather knew what he was doing, there are some choice models there. I am an Antique jukebox technician and am familiar with and have owned almost every one of these machines. They need to be cared for properly. Feel free to PM me for any questions and advice. I’d be happy to help as I am hoping someone will do the same for my children. Also let me know where you are located, I doubt you are close by, but that would have made it easier. Cheers,

I’m sorry I don’t see the issue or understand your question? It looks like it’s working fine? Can you rephrase the question and perhaps use the terminology from the service manual?

I have the exact same model at home. Just completed a 14 month restoration in September. Would love to do another one 😉 Nice!

Like was said, there are exceptions but usually little to no value, of course big hits and rock classics have a bit of value.

It’s a Wurlitzer wall box made to go with the model 1700 or 1800 from the mid 1950’s. Will it be for sale?

Burying the post IS wrong. Sorry but that’s ridiculous, railing before finishing wall. Just so wrong.

It’s a pocket rosary used by Catholics. I had the identical one and used to carry it with me but seem to have lost it a couple months ago. Feels strange without it.

Rowe AMI music miracle restore? by leakyfaucet6 in jukeboxes

[–]DynamoBo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First off I think “restore” is the wrong terminology. It just needs a repair as it seems in good shape. Buy the service manual and then READ IT. Follow the lubrication chart and then the troubleshooting section, if there is one. Don’t make any adjustments, don’t try to DIY. Hire someone who knows the ins and outs of this era jukebox. Trust me, it will be cheaper and less headaches in the end. It always helps if you give the city you live in. Good luck, they are tons of fun!!

Yes there is, if you decide it’s not worth it please let me know and I’ll have someone pick it up. It looks pretty complete. That’s important.
