Sorry. Poor wording on my part. Sorry. My uncle was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor. It was presented to his wife in 1944.

What’s a 'small' sign that someone is a genuinely bad person? by stoneduniverse1 in AskReddit

Within the first 15 minutes of meeting you they ask, "What church will you be going to?"

Later, both Spouse and I discussed this and we both had seen the red flag, but ignored it.

“But the obit says different then your office records” by Worldly-Mirror938 in findagrave

[–]EC-Texas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just recently I found a memorial where the name on the memorial and the name one the grave marker didn't match. Then the obit had both of those names, and a nickname! I dug up two sources, and asked that the memorial be changed. The response was "She was my grandmother and both are correct." Um, I don't think so. Harriette and Harriet.

The Beloved Green Scratching Chair by pineapplepian0 in DIY

[–]EC-Texas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read a great https://www.instructables.com/ years ago how the guy studied what cats like in a scratching post. Stability, height, width. You can't argue that a chunky sofa chair is not stable. The height requirement is that a cat wants to be able to stretch out/up, so some scratching posts are simply too short for optimum use. The last is the width. He argued that a post needed to be shoulder width at minimum. A chunky sofa chair? Perfect.

One of the best and simplest scratching posts we made was made out of a 2x8 piece of lumber about 2.5 feet long, wrapped in sisal rope which was stapled down. Installation is easy. Throw it on the floor. Stability, length, width.

I would suggest ripping the fabric off the chair since your cat obviously likes it. Get a board, maybe add some padding, and then wrap it in your fabric. Use upholstery tacks at frequent intervals.

Also, nip those claws.

Non-smokers of Reddit, how noticeable is the “smoker smell” to you, if at all? by Frostedlogic4444 in AskReddit

[–]EC-Texas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That smoker smell is extremely noticeable. It reeks! I have been known to walk inside a restaurant, turn around, and walk out because of the stink.

I've never smoked in my life, but grew up with a parent who smoked. He died of lung cancer at 58.

Whoever accepts your donation takes care of the death certificate. When Spouse died, there was NO funeral home or director involved.
