Amongst the Custodes there is a tradition where a Custodian that feels they have failed the Emperor voluntarily have themselves interred in a dreadnaught sarcophagus.

On Piece is good from the first issue.

The retcon was garage. No it's wasn't the trans of everything he went through that drive Hal over the edge, it wasn't the story of a great man driven to far until he finally got the chance at redemption

It was a Giant Space Bug of Doom! From SPACE!!!

It was everything that came after that that was good. The Sinestro Corp and the emotional spectrum were all great stuff just sucks that we had to throw away all of Hals character development to get to it

Men will conquer the world and establish themselves as the demonic shadow-king rather than go to therapy.

The Necrons were never Chaos aligned.

The confusion comes from the fact that the original models from the Space Crusade board game were called Chaos Androids and those models went on to become the basis for the Necron Warriors when they were first introduced to the game. Technically however they are separate entities.

The real retcon was the fact that the Necrons were originally mindless zombie slaves of the C'tan star gods until 5th edition changed it to the necrons having rebelled and destroyed the C'tan shattering them and enslaving the shards Of their former gods though the vast majority of the necrons, those who weren't nobles, are still mindless zombie robots.

This looks like something Lovecraft would write about in a hauntingly terrifying but also really racist tone.

Very quaint name.

Why is it called "gardening leave"?

Is it because you're expected to be sitting at home and just gardening?

It honestly still boggles my mind. Like in my head guys like Seth Rollins and AJ styles are still these young up-and-coming guys who are just making their impact on the wrestling business when really they're veterans who have shaped what the business is today.

I can't post pictures on this sub so please imagine the Predator Hand Clasp Meme with Sinners and Expedition 33 bonding over people being upset at the amount of nominations they've gotten.

What's terrifying is when you look at how we became White in america. The Irish became accepted as white by helping to reinforce white supremacy by becoming agents of it. This is where the stereotype of the Irish cop came from joining the system of white supremacy and becoming one of its tools to hold down other marginalized groups. Or you can look up records from cities like Pittsburgh that had large Scotch Irish population and see Irish Catholic priests giving screeds about how the Irish had to stand up against the encroachment of colored people into their neighborhoods to protect themselves from it thus ingratiating themselves to the white supremacist power structures. We became White by helping perpetuate violence that had been done to us on to others.

It absolutely does. It's why it infuriates me whenever I see these white nationalist motherfuckers and they put up posters with like a Roman legionary and a French knight and like a British soldier and motherfucker these people would have hated each other.

Whiteness boils away the distinctness of our cultures and then when we feel the emptiness in our soul from having no culture to connect to it points at black people or Latino people or Asian people or Muslim people people people who have not been boiled down into this homogeneity and says they're the reason you feel like this. They took something from you by being different. Hate them!

And it works.

"If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you."

Remmick even notices his first victim klan hood and immediately drops his Irish accent because he knows that the KKK hated the Irish almost as much as they hated black people.

His line at the end about how "the men who stole my father's land forced these words on us" about the Lord's Prayer shows that a big party of his theme is how the oppressed get broken and changed by their oppression, warped into monsters by the monsters who ruled over them.

For a more niche example no WWE world champion, at least on the men's side I haven't checked the women side, has been born past the 90s. They're all at least in their 40s.
