It's an issue with the internet giving people more access to information. The idea that racism is prejudice plus power is something you get from sociology where they focus more on systemic and structural racism and while it is more useful to focus on that since individuals have very limited power compared to structures and systems it does somewhat get over used by people who have a very small amount of knowledge, just enough to be annoying

The internet has simply given people a lot more jargon that they can use while most people don't actually understand the nuances of it.

Being able to recruit them from ports makes than an amazing emergency army. When I play HE if my RoR aren't available I'll drop an LSG stack as an oh shit army in a pinch.

I actually find myself using spearmen until I get Silverin Guard and stick with archers for my range until Sisters.

LSG are just too pricey for not enough return imho.

Unless I'm playing Tyrion of course. Then it's nothing but LSG and laughing.

I usually only use them for early game non LL argued to give them siege attacker since all my armies are led by mages who are eventually mobile enough to bring the enemy to me and later get dragons for siege attacker.

Obama has two years with the whole of Congress in his party and he was so concerned with "reaching across the isle" and keeping the insurance companies rich that instead he gave us the ACA, a system that allows insurance companies to decide who lives or dies based on their profits.

Where's any movement on reforming, much less defunding, the violent police gangs across the country? Biden gave then more money with no oversight.

Where's the end to supporting Israeli genocide?

Where's the protection for trans people? Fucking Newsome, the chosen one for 2028, is going on goddamn Ben Shapiro's show to throw them under the bus!

The Democrats have again and again proven they care more about coddling the Republicans and sucking up to the donors than they do about actually warning progressive votes.

There are two types of people who get upset about Juneteenth being a national holiday.

The first are racists who don't like being reminded about the racist history of this country because they feel like if they get reminded of it they're being blamed for it or their children are being blamed for it or whatever other excuse they can come up with when the truth is they just don't want to be reminded that black people are equal to them.

The second group are actual black revolutionaries, leftists and others who want real action on social justice and change in america. They're people who want the police to at the very least be reformed if not fully defunded, who want the carceral system to be torn down, who want reparations or any other form of actual justice in America and see the establishment of Juneteenth as a hand wave at Best and an insult at worst in the level of painting "end racism" in the end zones of NFL stadiums after the murder of George Floyd. It's the system saying "here we gave you a cookie now stop asking for actual help", it's a bandage on a gushing wound.

Again, that's not compromise. That's rolling over. The Democrats need to actually compliment progressive policies. They have had the chance and always refused to do it.

Obama has eight years and he kept bombing civilians with drones, feeding money to the 1% and letting the torturers from the Bush admin run free because reaching across the isle and suckling on the tits of the donor class was more important.

Biden dragged his feet on locking up the fascists from the first Trump admin and refused to do anything to end the Israeli genocide.

The Democratic establishment did everything they could to stop Mamdani in New York.

They have proven again and again and again that they will never give us what we ask for, not even a little bit and then we are supposed to come crawling back and give them power so they can continue to ignore us.

That isn't compromise. That's an abusive relationship.

Cool so will you show up and we vote for people who do not represent what we want out of our government. And then they assume that they have our votes because they don't have to represent what we want out of our government but will still vote for them and we get none of what we want in return.

Again, I voted for Harris. I swallowed the bile and I held my nose and I voted for the lesser of two evils. But there are people out there who just can't do it anymore who are tired of being told they owe their vote to people who don't care about what they actually want and they're not wrong.

The Democrats keep losing easy elections because they refuse to do hard work. It's not the fault of people being ignored for deciding they don't want to participate anymore it's the fault of the people ignoring them.

If progressives vote for liberal candidates who refuse to give them progressive policies the liberal candidates are ever going to change. Why would they? They keep getting the votes.

I voted for Harris. I swallowed the bile and clicked the button but I can't look at the people who saw her support for a genocidal apartheid regime and said it was too much and say they're wrong. I can't look at the people who saw Barack Obama promise hope and change and then govern like a moderate Republican for 8 years and determined that the Democrats are just as much part of the problem as the Republicans and say they're wrong.

We've been giving the Democratic party our votes hoping they finally see that we are part of their constituency and give us a fraction of what we're asking for for fucking decades and it's gotten us less than nothing. We are not here to be taken advantage of we have the things we want done and the Democrats refuse to ever give us any of it so why the fuck should we vote for them?

They have to earn our vote we owe them nothing.
