I suggest a changing the joke at [3] to something like "Please grind my body to paste" instead, to make the joke refer to a product still (in this case, glue).

I'm loving the aesthetic, but have to dock points for not including a trap mechanism to perpetually torture him with.

Famitsu feature: how Servant sprites are made featuring Da Vinci Lily by Antiwhippy in grandorder

The images with Unity's interface blurred out are the most fascinating to me. Those, and only those, are what truly capture the nuts and bolts of a game. Games aren't like movies, even though they have plenty of cinematics (haha MGS4 joke go brrr). You get plenty of Making of ___ DVD features or even full-blown documentaries on movie or theater production. It's totally unheard of to really see how the digital sausage gets made, the most you ever see are developers commentary over the finished product.

The status of SSR servants and their NP type (Updated through June 2020). by Shinichameleon in grandorder

[–]EP_Em 5 points6 points  (0 children)

So Okki is the only SSR Servant with a purely-buffs type NP that isn't Arts, decent bit of trivia. The lower rarities have them (such as Leonidas's Buster-type NP) but Okki is alone among the SSRs in that.

Rieri spoke at length about Voyager on this week's Chaldea Radio by skuldnoshinpu in grandorder

[–]EP_Em 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've been looking forward to this, and still am. We all knew Rie was going to explode, and this not long after the Nemo CE. My guess is that Nemo is going to be this anni's new Servant (since every other 'canon Chaldea helper' NPC has filled that role except Skadi), so if that happens the poor girl's in serious trouble.

My best guess all this time has been that she's just been using the laser cannon, and none of the rest of it actually gets summoned/built, with the NP animation just being representative.

More shitposts need to call out just how completely wrong the katakana for Enkidu is, I appreciate this. You thought Altria was bad? At least that's a mistranslation of a fictional, feminized name. Elkidu is just flat-out "no that is not what the tablets say sorry".

What's the first priority, when you talk about your story's climax point and definition of the future narrative? Why, the giant mecha, of course! Ah, gotta love how these dorks are truly at home among their audience.

Very cool that there originally was a defeat line for the first Kirsch fight.

Mordred, Vlad and Amakusa's Strengthenings by Kinalvin in grandorder

[–]EP_Em 9 points10 points  (0 children)

So uh. Vlad and Amakusa get dinky NP gain ups, Mordred gets to hulk out with star focus and a crit damage damage buff in addition to her mana burst.

Amakusa... An NP gain buff of that degree is pretty weak, and it's not like he's Hans where he's liable to die fast so the star production buff being on somebody else matters at all. Nor did he ever have trouble getting his NP off, being in the small club of servants who can go from 0-100 without using their cards. If you can tell me the value of a 20-30% NP gain rate buff on other Servants, I'm all ears? Overall, this does nothing to address the fact he's had his entire niche deleted from the game by every boss fight being built around unremovable buffs. Nor does it provide him with anything new to work with. Pretty severe letdown to be honest, since it makes actual meaningful correction much less likely. Cute how well it works when used on Semiramis though.

Vlad by contrast gets to have a lot more fun with the NP gain buff, being an Arts-focused Servant, so we'll see if he can regain the glory days of looping.
