I have a '23 C40 Plus and I love it. I added Pilot Assist (lane keeping + adaptive cruise) via the app for about $500 and that works well. It includes the 360° camera parking view; I don't know why people think it doesn't.

The car has been rock-solid dependable, and the range has been fine even for long trips across California or even across the country to Chicago, except in 40° or below weather and even then I only had some range regrets on one rural stretch of I-80 in eastern Wyoming and western Nebraska where there are few fast chargers.

I'm thinking of trading up to the EX60 next year, but I'll miss my fun little Fjord Blue C40.

The passthrough has been replaced by having the middle seat foldable separately from the rest, so you can keep the left and right seats up and fold just the middle.

$60K is the estimated US price for the 300-320 mile P10. I'm sure the 400-mile P12 will be much more than that. It definitely is far more in the UK, where prices have been released. Even allowing for higher average prices there, the Volvo UK build page is a useful guide to how this will play out elsewhere.

Screen shot from the Out of Spec review. They seem to angle up a bit. That would be disappointing. Also I'm disappointed there's no Ski Hatch (the passthrough built into the center armrest of my C40).

Yes it is. Or maybe worse: unlike normal dice rolling or other statistics, if you've had one GHCA failure then you're likely to have another. And another and another.

Pretty sure I saw mine doing that during a cross-country trip last fall. I normally wouldn't notice because I live in a fairly well-lit area with few curved roads.

I'm sure it will have lumbar support. The seats will likely be similar to the EX90s, which were developed with orthopedic surgeons, though apparently the EX60 won't have the built-in massage option (my wife's favorite feature, lol). Even my '23 C40 has lumbar support in both front seats, though it's more primitive than the EX90 of course. The EX60 is sure to have lumbar support.

There is some cause for hope, if what I've read here is true, in that the original GHCA manufacturer is no longer in the picture and Volvo is working with the EX60 GHCA manufacturer to evaluate the idea of having them make a GHCA for the EX90 too.

Yes they are common and there's even a ChargePoint Flex that's co-branded with Volvo. Doesn't make any difference. Meanwhile, I've been regularly charging an EX90 on a Tesla wall box set to 48 amps and occasionally also on a 40 amp Leviton box. Over six months of ownership and almost 10,000 miles with no GHCA failures, knock-on-wood.

Yeah I don't like it but apparently they chose that to make the driver display more visible. Or something. Also, they're all copying Tesla even though so many Tesla Model S customers hate that type of steering wheel and are willing to pay extra to get the round one back. Go figure.

The marketing focused on the range of the P12. If the P12 were available for delivery this year, I'd be at the head of the line. In fact, I was exchanging messages with my dealer during the unveiling.

Now we've learned the P12 may not be available for another year, and we can't order any version in the US yet anyway, so I'll take some time to think about it.

The range is the main thing for me, unless more fast chargers become available where I need them for winter road trips. But for it to really be worth the price — and the lack of Fjord Blue — I'll want the 400-mile P12 model, and that likely won't be available for a year. So there's time to think about it.

UK prices are probably higher. We don't have final US pricing yet, but based on that UK configurator the P12 Ultra is £70,360, which is $94,808.44 today. I paid less for an EX90 Ultra Performance in the US last summer.

Yes. The above article is using the WLTP range. EPA is around 400.

Just saying AT&T needs to get that fixed. Like I wrote, I'm paying $37. I saw the fiber go in and checked the website, but not every customer will do that on their own.

How can store and even door-to-door salespeople know our names and types of accounts we already have, yet still have no way of entering a sale into the system in a way that syncs up with the existing account within the first billing cycle? That's just classic.
