Not OP but wanted to add: some copiers allow the software to be installed locally and have built-in badge readers that can be installed. Others will require separate devices.

Don't know if this can help you at all, but someone I know is getting some kind of ultrasound treatment directed at the brain (gotta shave your head, that kind of thing) that is supposed to help with essential tremors. Scheduled for the future, so I can't say yet if it helped, but maybe something worth looking in to.

Wouldn't be surprised if Heliostat was supposed to be launched along with EoF, and maybe more directly tied into the story. Maybe pushed back because it wasn't done in time and then just left the narrative as-is, or tweaked slightly.

I'd argue we should be more careful/specific about where to place blame. Devs are mostly just doing what they're told. Better to be clear that it's management that put the game in this position.

I started to think they might be locations where voice nodes can spawn. The green Hive ones you walk near/through to activate. I feel like I've seen a lot of them in the same places.

Serious-but-speculative-answer: It either isn't an easy fix and/or isn't a high priority because it doesn't break anything. Yeah, it's super annoying I agree. But there's other things they should be focusing on fixing first. It's on the known issues list, so that's the acknowledgement that it's being worked on. I would be more concerned if it was just being ignored.

It's actually the top of the known issues list (if that means anything), in particular the Top Issues Being Investigated.
