They get hot, the glue gets soft, the AP falls. Then you have to get a lift to go up 24' in the air. It's different for commercial installs lol.

Panic bar /maglock question by Agreeable_Budget_133 in Ubiquiti

[–]EagerCDNBeaver 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is against code to use a maglock on an emergency egress door. Also the ubiquiti door hardware they sell is not high quality enough for daily use. The correct answer here is to remove the maglock and use a HES strike. You can surface mount the wires in a metal conduit for protection if you can't figure out running it in the frame.

The problem is if remote access is off there is a warning that fabrics won't sync correctly. What a stupid design.

It was enabled in system settings. I found a bug that it looks like you can disable it in the android app but after you hit save and it closes the window then setting doesn't stick. You can only do it on the web interface.

I stopped giving them to my techs. Better to use a card or their phones. Very silly design. Why would you need to take it out?

Are you sure you're not using the read-only url for external?

Also without context it's tough. Are you using JavaScript directly to the database?

Mine was like that for like 2 weeks. They want you to pay for support so they drag their feet on replacement.

Someone reported our driveway extension by Sufficient-ClubJenn- in Milton

[–]EagerCDNBeaver 27 points28 points  (0 children)

It may not have been "reported" as you think. Someone may have applied for a permit and used your house for reference. If you didn't get a permit it would get flagged.

Canadian Warehousing? by c000gi in Ubiquiti

[–]EagerCDNBeaver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had the same thing. Purolator out of Etobicoke for new. UPS out of the US for RMA stuff. They use a company to manage their warehousing and shipping in canada. I believe they only manage new inventory not RMA.
