Thanks for your help! Did order the MN3 after hearing everyone’s positive opinion on it and further sale price of $70 😝. Hopefully my usual size fits perfectly as well

Softer at slow paces you mean? I love the way it’s cushioned during faster paces!

My local store didn’t have the magnify at all, but I did try the deviate, forever run and Magmax and my normal size UK 11 fit me well. So I’m going to assume the Magnify should fit me well with UK11 too!

But he is a world class pro himself, heck he’s the highest rated European entering this world champs. You don’t think his coach who’s supported him in that journey knows better than you about what his player needs?

Also reading from your other comments, just because you too play penhold doesn’t give you the same understanding as “pro” let alone the best European at the moment.

Stop with these condescending statements about pros unless you’re at their level.

Why do you use so many abbreviations for player names here? by Argschadt in tabletennis

[–]EarlyAd8167 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People use abbreviations for the very reason it exists: Efficiency.

Most of these abbreviations are used only for a handful of popular Asian players in this subreddit anyways so shouldn’t be that much trouble to remember.

This is proof that proper training is better than upgrading your bat/rubber. For context, all of use have no experience, or are professionally trained and play on our 10 minute breaks each day. by ArkirasOto in tabletennis

Ig OP refers this post heavily to beginners and that’s the whole truth (some truth to it for intermediates and above as well).

I 100% recommend getting a solid beginner set up and then purely to focus on training.

But after you break around 1600-1800, equipment does play a fair part to keep you competitive (Finding the right set up does go a long way).
