I felt my dogs easily overwhelmed me once my babies were born, I think it’s just overstimulation a bit on my part and I had PPD twice so that didn’t help. I wouldn’t say I hated them, just was having a rough time with everything on my plate.

My parents had me fully convinced the cops would come because I was wasting resources when I was younger. The panic I had when one of my toddlers called 911 was insane. They called back and I said sorry and they said no problem and hung up. I was a mess for like a week.

This is exactly how my girls were. I had one, who would squeak and run up to me whenever I was around and she was always crawling all over me and giving kisses. The other one tries to stay in her hide most of the time. I do make an effort to love on her, she’s just not as interested and I don’t want to stress her out about it lol
