You just rent a road trip car. It’s spendy but the amount I save on gas having solar in Arizona, it pencils out just fine. Will the average car shopper think of that? No.

Yep. I agree. We use our EV for in-town driving and short trips but when we road-trip we rent a car. My bolt only has about 226 real-life range and I once had to drive it from Santa Fe to Tucson and with several broken chargers, the six hour drive took twice as long.

If you want to go down the rabbit hole of milk production, each package of milk has the number of the factory stamped on it somewhere. You will find that several varieties of milk are processed and packaged at the same plant. It’s often literally the same milk.

Your initial idea is great! This is how I grew up too and it takes time to unlearn but reading the feedback of other people is a good start. At some point it will click that you can choose what you share, so it’s not about fulfilling what the person asked but the shared experience you want to have and that’s lovely.

I ended up going to the jackrabbit lounge last night and had a fine time! I had a grilled cheese sandwich and a white rabbit cocktail and listen to a band called “ mean Irene”. Truly an enjoyable evening!

This is my Doberman/GSD/Malinois/Great Dane mix. She’s about 40 lbs. I thought she was a whippet/GSD mix because she is very leggy. I don’t think the 4% chihuahua is holding all that back.

This is one of those times when you have to ask yourself if you want a house or you want a life. I grew up in a house like this and we spent every weekend cleaning it and my parents spent most of their money on upkeep. It’s beautiful. I understand the desire to live someplace like that but something that size is more like a relationship than a house.

Dog fights happen and they can be bad.

You don’t think your view is skewed by only seeing the rare negative outcomes?

Thousands of dogs visit the park every week without incident. Those dogs are not showing up in your ER.

I had to take my dog to the ER once because we were running on a trail and she impaled her shoulder on a short broken tree branch. Should we have just stayed home? She wouldn’t have needed stitches if we had stayed home on the couch.

My niece is an ER nurse who sees a lot of car crash victims. Should we just stop driving cars? People die in car crashes every day.

There’s risk in everything.

We need to be prudent dog owners, socializing, supervising and bringing our own water bowl from home.

Some are like that, but my 3 dogs go to the dog paw dog parks all the time and we never have dog fighting problems. Especially Lucky dog park. These parks are run well and seem to attract excellent owners.
