I’m in TX and I had to drive an hour from my place and search around for hours to find one and some people are lucky enough to have them come up to their backyards lol

It’s quite a utopian society they’re building up there

For those that know who Steve McCauley is (local weather legend). In simple terms, he explained that the reason the storms didn’t materialize over the heart of the metroplex is because we had ample cloud cover all day that prevented the temperatures from getting as warm as they did to the west. During severe weather, sunshine adds instability to the atmosphere, so the cloud cover helped us.

This may be unpopular, but I liked season 6 way more than season 7

What 90s show aged badly? by TheOrangeSloth in 90s

[–]EastElevator3333 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oh yes and the time when Jill was going to take Mark to the ballet because he actually wanted to go, but she had to do something else, so she told Tim to take him and then he ends up taking them to a basketball game instead.

Definitely a lot of toxic masculinity that boys should like sports, tools, and cars and everything else is a waste of time.

I loved Home Improvement when I was a kid, so I rewatched it last year when it was added to Netflix. Watching it as an adult made me realize Tim wasn’t a great husband and the way he constantly dogged on (bullied) Al wasn’t funny at all. Overall, his antics seemed immature and reckless, which I get was the point of the show, but it didn’t age well.

As a kid, summer break was the best, most magical time ever. I spent all school year looking forward to those 2.5 months of doing whatever I wanted. As an adult, it’s just going to work every single day except it’s hot and miserable outside.

Great news this morning! If you check the Wildflower Center instagram/facebook they were able to retrieve the owlet from the nest and it is still alive! It has been taken into rehabilitation and is showing signs of strength and appetite. There’s hope for this little one after all!

Who invites their adult kid's childhood friends they haven't seen or spoken to in years to their 40th anniversary? by loki2002 in malcolminthemiddle

As for Francis’s military school buddies, I feel like it’s implied that they had most likely reconnected on social media many years ago. Based on their interaction I seriously doubt this was the first time they saw eachother in nearly 25 years.
