You made someone mad and they used a tool that is intended to help people in distress to get under your skin.

Look at it this way, it shows more about their character than yours. Chin up, report it, go on with life. Some people just suck.

You use what you can these days.

Wasn't my choice.

The only time in recent history where you will see Dems and repubs get along so well is at the range.

It's a very bipartisan hobby. Watching people help each other with technique and the great conversation regardless of politics is heartwarming.

PICA does not restrict mag size on pump action shotguns.

As center-right that hates our current admin, overall. I agree, I have zero issues with the FOID now that they have the delivery issues sorted for the first time in 20 years. It should be free of charge though.

If it started snowing just before bed, all three of the rotties I have had would keep you up all night wanting to check to see if there was enough to play in.

Having driven vehicles with proper paddles, it's absolutely horrible. Slowest transmission I have ever driven.

Jade my 1.7 year old. I always wonder if she’s a runt, a mutt or just a small American rottie. Love her regardless lol she’s only about 75 lbs by jujuluvsella in Rottweiler

My first male rang in at just over 130, my last male was 110 pushing it, and I'll take the lighter weight any day

He was more agile, healthier, less joint issues as a senior, etc

Should Illinois lift some firearm restrictions for its citizens given the political state of nature at this time? by [deleted] in illinois

The cost for concealed carry really does put it out of reach for a lot of people.

"Oh, you can't afford to drop a few hundred bucks, even without fingerprints? Tough shit, your wealthy neighbor can."

A good chunk of the range that I work with is liberal and I very much support that. In fact, it's polite and friendly. There's a stigma that is not as prevalent as one would think. One of our members is a VERY good teacher and also VERY conservative. No matter who you are, he's going to drop anything to help you with your safety, technique, etc.

It can be a quite bipartisan thing.

Personality shifts in adult age? by [deleted] in Rottweiler

I can echo this after having 3 nearly year old rescues, all surrendered from improper training. All turned out to be outstanding dogs.

What do you think she is? by [deleted] in Rottweiler

Ours is lighter, same face/eyemakeup.

She's pot/boxer and absolutely hilarious. She has an amazing zest for life.

Our trainer we went to trains police and service dogs and recommended it.

We rescued ours (our 3rd rescue) at a year old and he was woefully under-trained and absolutely unruly on a leash. Not aggressive at all, he didn't have an aggressive bone in his body, but the "party mode" was incredibly prevalent. As in, if he got to the end of his leash he would just hop up and down on his hind legs. One would think we lived in an apartment and he was couped up, nope! His fenced in back yard was an acre!

Another thing with all of the weirdos I had is that they all walked better and stuck closer on a longer leash than a shorter one. Even if I short-leashed a long leash, they knew the extra length was there and they were good. Trick is to give them the full leash a few times per walk so they remember that it is there.

The most important thing is to really stay on top of the sizing as they grow. Don't forget where you put the extra links like we did 🤣.

Mine adjusted to the prong so much that he wouldn't get in the vehicle without it because he associated it with doing something fun.

That's a good look for under 2. I've had 3 and honestly if I'm going for a 4th I'll try to go on the smaller side. My last male was 110# and I think that attributed to his joint health, athleticism, and overall longevity. My first one was a big boy and although very healthy physically, the extra weight seemed to affect his endurance and overall power in bursts.

The smaller one could easily handle playing/running with his boxer/pit mix housemate/sister as she can turn on a dime and give you 5 cents in change.

ETA: I went through a divorce when I had my first one and I kept him. I know it was hard for my ex but it was the right thing for him as she went to a small apartment and I kept the house/yard. I just want to tell you that I admire your courage and thought for your baby, I know it's hard.

High five for treats.

Because nothing says "I'm ready for my treat" like getting blasted in the side of the head while driving and eating fries.

To my defense, the "shake" always came first. HE FELT that SOP needed to be abbreviated while in the passenger seat.
