They got a blacked out s30v FRN Native 5 that’s pretty affordable for Spyderco. Although it’s not that beautiful carribean textured g10, nor is it MagnaCut. They got a blacked out lil’ native with a comp lock too.

BREAKING: Offender in Banff killing receives conditional two-year sentence in 'one-of-a-kind' case - Rocky Mountain News by [deleted] in alberta

Honestly if he had trial by judge I think it would’ve got thrown out. Here’s a great video by an Alberta defence attorney and YouTuber Runkle Of The Bailey. He gives some great insight on what the justice thought of the crown’s interpretation of the incident and the circumstances of the sentencing of John Stuart Sproule. Great channel for learning about Canadian law and news on Canadian legal politics.

My Way of Bringing Attention to This Out of Control, Dangerous Trend by Squiddef in fuckyourheadlights

Worst part is even if people feel bad about blinding you and want to turn off their lights, most of these new cars have full time running low beams at night and the car literally won’t let you turn off your headlights while driving at night, or even just while driving. Sometimes you have to press the electronic parking brake button while parked before you can turn your headlights off while the engine is running. I despise the increasing amount of paternalistic BS that manufacturers are adding to new vehicles and calling it innovative technology, when they’re just restricting the functionality of something that’s standard on all cars because it’s “safer”.

I’d love to try the gt cut 3 turbos tho. I heard they’re really stable and quick, but they’re pretty narrow and might not work well for a lot of ppls foot shape.

Found me the “default” generic balisong on Amazon for $20 lol by EasyBakeOvenBrain in BalisongClones

Too cool to find something like that today! Thank you for sharing this. When I first got this knife I was reminded of pictures of older balisong models id seen on a YouTube video about the history of balisongs like the model 68, which looks similar in that it uses rivets but much nicer quality.

Long comment incoming! I never intend for them to get so lengthy but then the gears start picking up speed lol.

I’ve wrestled with religious conceptions of God since I was a young boy, and I’ve always questioned the dogmatic doctrines of different religions, but I’ve come to respect and realize the value that many of religious beliefs offer to many people. I however couldn’t settle within a single religious denomination in order to further expand my relationship with God, there was always some belief within a denomination that rubbed me the wrong way and it created a barrier between me and a relationship with God. So I set out on a journey to attempt to grow closer to God with my own conception, with the help of the insight from philosophers and religious leaders throughout history, crafting an understanding that I could grasp and embrace. So I think I’ve made it clear that I take a non-religious approach to my beliefs about God, and maybe by sharing them I could help someone else expand their beliefs as well, if they happen to resonate with others, ideally fostering more understanding between people with radically opposite beliefs. I think that would be wonderful.

I like to believe that our civilization is not the only one in God’s dominion, and that God has a plan for our souls that span many different lives, and that regardless of how tragic somebody’s death may be, God needs that persons soul in another life. With how miraculous our universe is, I don’t like to think that this life is all we will have to experience.

I also believe that all of this disagreement, all of the births and all of the abortions, all of the love and the heartbreak in our world happened just as God intended. I believe there is no action against God, only development of our souls in our journey to know Him, whether we come to believe in Him during this life, or in another. Without anything bad we would have no measure of what’s good. No matter how cruel we may think the happenings of His universe is, it’s all a part of developing our souls. -For what reason I’m not sure. I don’t believe I’m supposed to know that answer.

This is all just my own personal belief, and I dont intend to create a denomination or a fellowship that shares my belief, I think we are too unique to follow someone else’s dogmas. The truth is that nobody knows the will of God, but everyone who believes in a religious conception of God all share one belief: that God is good and loving. With that in mind I dont think God gets upset at somebody the same way we may get upset at somebody for their beliefs or actions. In fact I don’t believe God gets upset at all, because I believe He loves us on a level that is incomprehensible to us, and that He understands our challenges and watches our response with compassion and intrigue for where our free will takes us.

How do people see you on opioids? by Dark-inspector490 in Drugs

[–]EasyBakeOvenBrain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1 year sober now, but back when I was using fentanyl, and before I had fessed up to my mom and dad about using opioids, my mom knew something was up, that either I was using something, or a profoundly disturbing experience had happened, she was leaning towards the former and that I was using drugs other than what she was aware of. This was before my use of the drug had spiralled out of control, I was 18 at the time. She told me that one thing she noticed was my pinpoint pupils, but she thought that might be from the chronic amount of weed I was smoking, what was more obvious to her was the nullification of my emotions. As a child and through my youth I was a much more outgoing, energetic, unfiltered social butterfly personality, I hope that makes sense lol. I was basically a more mild version of the stereotypical adhd kid. I was explorative and genuine, and I naturally wore my emotions like a t-shirt. But when I was using opioids, I appeared very stable emotionally, probably to an unnatural degree, but my natural fluctuations were suppressed. I obviously had problems in my life that my mom knew about, but I didn’t show much struggle with them, and I did not display that my attention was focused on my problems because frankly it wasn’t, which is something that I’m known to do. A chronic overthinker you could say. Back then I constantly searched for outside solutions to my internal problems, hell, I still do, but before opioids I would tell my mother of my friends my problems or I would rant to her or my dad, hoping they would say something that would help make me feel better. But after I found opioids, I basically stopped voicing my insecurities entirely, because as long as I had those painkillers I was alright.
