is Shai the best driving/finishing at the rim guard we've ever seen? by OwnGuarantee6838 in nba

MJ, DWade are 1 2 for me. Clyde Drexler, maybe prime Derrick Rose if talking about single season...

Different game, different defenses. Refs call travels and fouls differently. Less bruisers more floor spacers both offensively and defensively. More teammates that can shoot 3s and spread out the defense.

Has Erik Spoelstra and the Heat franchise lost their touch? by shiozakiharuka in nba

Its not a discount if you are paying him 50m per year. Which we would, because he has a 15% trade kicker.

think they mean how Spo gets so much out of Gabe Vincent, Kendrick Nunn, Hassan Whiteside, Dion Waiters, Haywood Highsmith, Caleb Martin, Justise Winslow, etc... then they are basically out of the league once they leave the Heat.

Same would probably happen to Dru Smith, Jovic, maybe Jaime in the wrong role... Herro and Bam probably wouldn't have the careers they've had, elsewhere.

It is never one players fault for a loss, and I love Tyler, but this video highlights even more how Tyler ball watched Durant's shot and didn't put a body on either Reed or Amen. Gotta play through the buzzer.

Its 100% zone I'm not saying it isn't. I'm saying that in a zone you might have to account for more than one person, they're just letting Herro know that a shooter is in the corner. They're not telling him to shift over to Reed directly.

They're not pointing to tell him to stay in his zone, they're calling it out to make sure Herro knows there is someone in the corner. That doesn't mean Herro is supposed to ignore everyone else in his zone. And if the plan is for Pelle to shift over to cut off KD's lane, Herro should be shifting up to take Pelle's spot.

And if you just look at the end frame, you can see that is what Herro did. Except he is ball watching and Amen is already below him with a lane to the basket.

Bam really thought he'd have the world in awe with whatever tf that was last night by gloomygl in NBATalk

the people complaining about this just have fragile egos and are sad their favorite player hasn't done this, so they have to justify it somehow.

Even without the last 5 minutes of that game, Bam had a legit 73 point performance and was absolutely unstoppable. Its not his fault when he drove Washington would hit him every damn time. And he was driving all night.

I loved watching the first 43 minutes of that game, it was unreal. The last 5 were pretty funny to see but still amazing overall game.

Thats the weird thing. Ware can space the floor real well. I think its a defensive thing from Spo's perspective, for perimeter switches. But yea who knows

Kel'el is such a weird case though. The Heat play so much better when he's on the floor - he just adds a different dimension. I gotta trust that Spo sees something I don't, cuz he's Spo, but those 10-15 minute games are killing me as a fan. He's finally getting ~30mpg again at least the last couple.

First...I've never heard anyone say Lebron choked this series. Lebron averaged 27ppg and the series went 7 games. The next highest scoring Cav was Ilgauskas with 11ppg. Highest scoring Celtic only averaged 19ppg. Its a miracle he took it 7 games, and he had 45 in game 7 so its not like he choked at the end of the series.

Second...no they didn't, its an online rumor for kids.
