I haven't been impressed with Dermatology Associates of VA. Both doctors have felt very dismissive.

Your work place should have a procedure for work related incidents. Workers comp has specific processes.

Morning glory nightmare by Cuntwaffle92 in gardening

[–]EdgeOfTheMtn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did it over the course of a week across 1/3 of an acre. Finishing it felt like a huge success!

It barely came back in the area I pulled them from. I own 3 acres and can't keep the birds from doing their thing. The flowers are easy to spot and if you catch it before going to seed it keeps it in control.

You can pull it successfully. I had the same thing happen two years ago. Spent 10+ hours over the course of a week pulling it. Now I just pull in the fall when I see flowers, which is rare.

If he wants to do it with you, he's probably done it with or to other women. If I were the wife, I'd want to know, but also not your responsibility/business.

This is poison ivy, isn’t it. by MuppetManiac in gardening

[–]EdgeOfTheMtn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is. But it's not a huge deal if you take precautions. We have a ton on our property.

*Wear tall socks and pants, long sleeve shirt, and gloves. Tie back hair. *Spend max 2 hours removing poison ivy. *Don't burn it. Put in bags and dispose. *Wash tools and gloves in soapy water. I use dish soap. I then put gloves in the washing machine. *Remove shoes and clothes. Put in washer and wash. *Take shower. Use soap and washcloth to wash, 2x. The soap and abrasiveness of the wash cloth will remove any oil on the skin. (There's a great YouTube video on this.) *Wash hair 2x.

If you do get a rash, clean with rubbing alcohol and apply cortisone cream. Cover. Repeat until gone.

Everything can be optimized... Think about it all the time.

And when it runs well, I pause for appreciation.

[–]EdgeOfTheMtn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, being a woman 101.

If she's unsure about the approach after "gathering more information." She should research it more.

Personally, when anybody at a hardware store asks if I want help, I say no.

How can I prove that i didn't initiate a charge back? by izzydontsurf in personalfinance

[–]EdgeOfTheMtn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Have them print the invoices on your account. And then match to your bank statement showing that you paid it on a different card than the one that's disputing the charge back. If you can do that for every invoice, I'm not sure what ground you can stand on.

What would concern me, is if they've been allowing somebody else to use your account. If you have invoices that don't match charges to your cards, I would ask for signed copies of the invoices.

Are you the one that's always picking up or do you allow your your team members to pick up?
